As someone who never purchased a house before or let alone took out any type of loan you could say getting a mortgage can be very intimidating. Scott Bonovich took the time to explain the process, answer any of my questions and found the best type of mortgage that best fit me. He also referred me to Ashley Fuller who was an excellent real estate agent. Scott was very helpful on running the numbers on the many houses I looked at making sure it would fit into my monthly payment range. When it came to closing time Scott made sure all the financing was ready and my closing day went smoothly without any problems. I have recommended many friends and coworkers to GSF Mortgage. We were recommended to Jake from GSF through my previous employer after running into financing problems with our current lender that we had been working with for 8 months! Jake was SPECTACULAR! He always has a positive outlook, was compassionate about our situation, gave great advice, and always seems to be available when needed to answer questions. He was also great at keeping us updated, even if nothing had changed, just to let us know they were still working on things. Plus he caught something at our closing that saved a little more money! We have stayed in contact with Jake to refinance in the near future and he has given us so many tips on financial planning! He’s a miracle worker!! My fiance and I went to GSF Mortgage to work with Pam Gustafson. She did his mortgage on his house and he said great things about her! Our home buying process took about a year and half. Between regected offers, mind changes and life changes we struggled. But Pam was there every step of the way. We could call and text her with questions and she always helped, and we texted alot! Jenilee was great to work with! She really knows her stuff. Even if your husband doesn't see the bold/highlighted print that clearly says not to take out any other loans during the mortgage approval process then he goes out and buys a new truck....during the mortgage approval process...Jenilee still figures out a way to get you approved! She also lent us some pots and pans when we moved in and our stuff didn't show up on time. Jenilee is more than just a great mortage broker, she's a great person. I highly recommend working with her!
