Like everyone else, I would advise against using MCC. Though it's not easy to get away without refinancing or selling. I recently sold my house and have been waiting for the balance of my escrow to be returned. I called to find out, as the loan website provides zero help. The receptionist said it was mailed out, sent to the house that I sold. Even though the title company sent a payoff letter to provide my forwarding address. When I told the receptionist she very condescendingly said they don't get those... I find that hard to believe as it also included the details of where to send the title to the new buyers title company.

I've had mcc for several years. I've never had an issue with them and will see my house paid off in probably October of next year. I can't understand why people has issues with them. They do everything that all mortgage companies do and then some

My home loan was sold to MCC some months ago and it has been the most cumbersome and annoying company to work with. I feel like I'm back in the 90's. Their website and customer page is so archaic. I cannot see my payment record, cannot set up automatic payments, cannot choose so many options that I'm used to choosing from the previous companies I've worked with. Their customer service is the worst. No one picks the phone and when they finally do, their tone and manner make you want to put the phone down.

Unfortunately Banc first sold are note to this company. We had problems from the start and sent our payment to the bank. This was our first 15 year note. We soon realized what happened and somehow still have a 30day late payment on our report. This company won't fix it and don't care for there customers. If you are looking for financing ask your bank to please avoid selling them your note. They also have returned payments we sent in towards principal. We are looking for a better finance company and I would avoid this bunch. Save yourself the hair and frustration if you want service. Good luck getting someone on the phone. Not even worth a star.

What a sham of a company! I try to make my payment at least 1 week early. They do not post payment until 4 - 5 days later. This is unacceptable. Interest is continuing on the larger amount until they "get around" to posting the payment. I have given up sending payment by mail. I have been accused of not making payments even though I am holding the canceled check in my hand. They will lie to you even if the truth sounds better. I was told more than once that no one at MCC has e-mail. Really? I have e-mails from them and they just deny that they sent them. The front counter people change almost monthly. That is something that is not indicative of a well managed company. My advice? Ask your bank if they sell your mortgage and find out if MCC is on the list of purchasers. If MCC is involved RUN!!! do not walk RUN!!!. Of course if you like to be lied to, cheated, scammed, talked down to, accused of defaulting, and wasting money then by all means it is your choice.

My mortgage was sold to Mortgage Clearing Corporation from Midfirst Bank. So far the website looks like it was made in 2001 and doesn't work with Mint. You have to call to get anything done besides make a one time payment. So it gets worse. I just called to setup auto pay on Nov 28, 2018 and I was told that since they are recalculating escrows in December they won't be starting any new auto pays until March of 2019. Additionally to set up auto pay I have to mail them a voided check like this is 1990. If this bank can be avoided I'd highly recommend it. I guess the only upside here is they did call me back. Update July 2020: Thankfully I was able to refinance at a much lower rate with a lender with awesome online services. Glad they aren't getting any more interest from me!!! Bye Felicia 👋

Close as I can tell. MCC doesn’t grow their revenue through individuals . MCC gets new business from Oklahoma Banks. The banks and loan officers are truly the MCC customers. The folks who have the mortgages are pure cost. The less MCC spends maintaining the loan /customer service. The higher the profit margin. It’s capital, think about something else. Life is too short to spend Google reviewing or messing with average customer service.

One star because 0 is not available. MCC is a horrible company. The website for payments has no useful information. It also allows websites to store your loan and SSN by default. The customer service is horrible. If you email you might never get a response and if you call you will always have to leave a message and then the call will not be returned.

I've financed 2 houses with Mortgage Clearing since 1990. They are fantastic when it comes to details of VA home loans. Barbara Wilson is the best! And Amanda has done 2 of my closings. She makes sure all the closing papers are clearly understood. And payments can be set up on monthly ACH auto-draft payments with personal banking. I highly recommend them!

I have had a mortgage with Mortgage Clearing Corp for 20 years or so. I have had zero issues with them. Barbara Wilson is absolutely the best, she has worked with us over the years for some refinances to do upgrades etc. and is always very helpful to tell us if it is a good idea or not. She is always helpful in giving us the information we need to make a good decision. Just love her.
