Mission Federal Credit Union India St, San Diego

I would recommend strongly against opening any accounts here - personal or business. I opened an account at the Mission Federal Credit Union branch in Little Italy, San Diego for the 501(c)(3) non-profit that I started to help recent college graduates pay off student debt. The non-profit was something that I did on the side as a passion project. Shortly after opening up the account, I moved out of state for my primary job and put the non-profit on hold. During that time, Mission Credit authorized multiple unapproved (by me) and illegitimate transactions that depleted the non-profit’s account. No fraud warnings were triggered (and should have been). I only found out when I recently closed out the account to withdraw the remaining balance and there was only $3 left. Hundreds of dollars were stolen under their watch. They told me it was too late to file a fraudulent access claim even though the statute of limitations for that crime is many years. Bottom line: The bank’s systems are not secure. I will NEVER use them again.

Initially their Draconian rules made frustrating to start an account.. But after the 90 days initial time period things improved. Be aware that you can only withdraw $3000 A-day at each branch. They demonstrate how small they are as a bank because of that..

I love this location, great employees and great service. Now to the company, why does Mission Fed. Close to early? Why aren't the tellers more spaced out? I get off at 6 and need assistance, I really don't want to wait on hold for 15 minutes to speak to some random person and let them have ALL of my personal info. Also, the cite really needs an update. I never am able to log on and its a huge issue that needs to be fixed. 4/5 because 3 means Basic, and 5 means Outstanding. Mission Fed is 4 is Good.

Cozy location, very comfortable scenery. However like the location in Escondido, this one Is no better in terms of service, professionalism, and competence in your account information. You ask a question, expect to be answered with another question, are bankers not allowed to answer customers questions. Is this institution liable for any of its own mistakes, or is this institution just asking to file for bankruptcy. Another disappointing experience by Mission Federal credit Union, seriously reevaluate how you’re doing business because with the customers do not understand it at all.

Everyone at this branch really goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I worked with Lety on my auto loan, and she was super nice and efficient to work with! This happened after working with a few other nightmare credit unions. I’m really happy that I found this branch.

TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. There service has always been awful, and I mean AWFUL, but now you can only make deposits during business hours- 9 am to 4 pm. THERE IS NO ATM ACCESS AFTER 4 PM. It was foreseeable that they'd have homeless camping in the lobby at night when they built that place out, but restricting access to the ATM is not the answer.

They have THE WORST card system ever!!!! If they promise you your chil card will arrive before the old one is deactivated is a LIE!!! I’ve been in this stupid vicious cycle with them 4 times!!! Last time I came to this branch, the lady I spoke to GUARANTEED that my chil card would arrive before my old one stopped working, she GUARANTEED!!! Now my card doesn’t work and I called and they told me that the new one won’t arrive until Friday and it’s MONDAY!!! I need to buy groceries and get gas and buy food before then but HOW without a working card????? This is soo ridiculous! I will be going to the branch tomorrow to get a temporary one AGAIN!!!! Because If i don’t do it I won’t have access to MY MONEY until Friday! This is the most ridiculous thing ever

They are the most accessible and responsive bank I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

Their branches close at 4pm. Such limited hours makes it difficult to do business with.

I love this credit union as the staff are really friendly and they offer great loan rates.
