I am not even a member here, but I feel the need to tell people to stay away. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Bought a truck off a member, had to meet him there to get the title signed off. Had a certified check from the Frankenmuth Credit Union who is a very well known and established credit union they would not accept it. Again it was a certified check. They called to verify the phones and everything and they still would not sign off on the title. Claimed it was a law that they had to wait 10 days, which was a lie. Waited almost a month and they still would not sign off on the title even after the funds had cleared my bank account. This place is an absolute rip off and a shame to financial institutions everywhere. To this day still have not gotten a sign off, they refuse to mail it or email it to me so I can get the truck registered with the Secretary of State. Explain to them that I am about two hours north of their location and it is tough for me to get there before they close at five, and they are unwilling to cooperate. To anyone thinking about doing business with them, I would highly recommend a different establishment. I’m not the only one they have given a hard time to, read through the rest of the reviews you will see their customer service has been in question many times.

I closed my account today after several years of banking there. We had the MOST difficult and frustrating experience with Metro North and I highly encourage you to NOT bank with them for very poor customer service and responsiveness. I lost my credit card on 07/27 and called to cancel it same day. I had to call the next day to order a new one. I called the next day and they refused to order me a new card until I had changed my address (no option to change online). My husband had attempted to change our address but they refused him due to it not being changed on his ID (also RIDICULOUS as we were able to open our new account at Genysis with a piece of mail). We had to drive 35 minutes to the Waterford Branch to fill out a form (because they are the only branch open on weekends--another rrason to bank elsewhere and we both work 9 to 5 jobs and that is the only time during the week they are open...) After filling out the change of address form they STILL would only order my card the following Monday. I had to call to confirm my change of address and request my card be ordered. They told me it would arrive within 7 to 10 days (huge inconvenience and WAY to long to begin with and this is already waiting 4 days). I waited 12 days before calling to confirm my card was ordered they assured me it was and to wait for it in the mail. I called back a few days later because at this point it had been two weeks (you can ship things internationally in less time). I requested tracking which they could not provide me with, they could not express ship the card...so they claimed; so they activated the card number for use...being as it could have been anywhere in anyones possesion I was not thrilled but continued to wait. I ONLY received my card on 08/23 the date in the letter was 08/15. Which confirms what i believed...they HAD NOT ordered my card on 07/30 as promised. THEY WERE DISHONEST when both my husband and I called to inquire, and they were RUDE and not helpful in getting the matter handled. Mistakes happen but NO EFFORTS were made to make it right. We were met with no help and attitude. We called two weeks in a row on a saturday over 8 times with no answer also no voicemail to leave a message for someone to call us back. I sent an email to the email address listed on their site with no response. As a full time working mother I do not have time for people to mess with my money and not have access to it whenever I need to. Who has time to waste on this type of thing? I am happy this happened because we LOVE our new credit union and what they have to offer. Consider another credit union!!!

Was told I would receive an ATM debit card six months after I started my accountHave had the account for over a year still haven't received anything....i will be closing my account soon

Awesome little hometown bank. I love banking here over going to a full size corporate chain. Very friendly staff all around and some killer interest rates on auto loans. Come check them out!

Great terms and interest rates on loans but horrible online banking and for some reason nobody can answer the phones finally got an answer on the 9th time calling throughout the day
