Joined this bank because they offered a $200 sign up bonus. The lady said it would apply to me (a minor) and it would be put in my account after 90 days. After waiting I go in to ask about this and they said it doesn’t apply because I didn’t open a real checking account. I talked to the lady who opened my account who was very unprofessional and immediately started lying about telling me I could get the bonus. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional.

I’m a young person getting an auto loan for the very first time and I met with Sanja after speaking with her via phone and email. She told me exactly what documents she needed before we met and I got them to her. When we met, she walked me through the entire process and answered all my questions. She made it seem so easy and straightforward. I got an amazing APR on the interest rate. When Sanja was looking at my credit, she also noticed I had some credit card debt and offered to apply me for a personal loan through MSGCU (also at a great rate) which was thoughtful. Now I’m just waiting for my car dealership to send their documents so I can be on my way to owning my vehicle. Anyway, 10/10, would go here again for anything! And 100% recommend Sanja. I didn’t meet with anyone else so I can’t rate them but Sanja was so nice, professional, kind, educated, and willing to help me understand what I was getting into.

I'm so grateful to have worked with a wonderful person name Theresa Cleveland. Who is manager of new Baltimore branch . Theresa went above and beyond her job to help me get on the right track. She is my personal angel and I'm ever so grateful. Very caring and kind. She cares , it's not just a job for her. Thanks Theresa ( My Angel)

The people there are Extroidary!!!!!! They give "service" a whole new meaning. They are respectful, knowledgeable, and SO VERY kind!!!!!! They tell you, in a NICE WAY, when you do something wrong and tell you, in a NICE WAY, the right way to do it. I dearly love to go there because of their kindness and knowledgeability of everything. THEIR COFFEE IS GREAT TOO!!!

What's really frustrating is buying your first house and immediately finding damages that cost thousands of dollars to repair, and when you finally get the insurance check to repay your credit cards, having the bank rep question how you got the check before depositing it for you, and then the same rep being rude when you return a week later with the much smaller return deposit check from the place you were renting from before buying the house, and questing how you have that check now because you just came in with another one. I'm not sure it's any of your business, there's a hold on the bigger check to make sure the bank gets their funds (which we understand and never even took issue with?) so what's the problem? I have a feeling she thinks we are involved in something fishy because we are young adults and maybe because we came in a few minutes before closing (all we had to do was deposit a check, sorry we have busy lives too) the second time. Quite upset that after the trauma of having our house flooded and then torn apart, when we finally are in a place to fix it having someone sour it for no reason. We were not rude to this woman even though the first time here we wanted to ask why she needs to know how we had a check (and we did explain what happened to our house and everything), and explained what the second check was too when she asked very rudely because it was the "second time she waited on us". She was also visibly and vocally annoying with us because one of us (my fiance and I) does not have an account at the bank because we had come in previously and asked about it but were told we didn't meet the requirements for us both to have an account. We both signed the checks and visited the branch to deposit the checks with our I.D's, because they were both made out to the both of us (we couldn't afford to have only one of us on either our lease or our mortgage, sorry lady) so what other options do we have?? Now have to plan on going to another branch (which isn't an exciting prospect since this one is so close to our home) or continuing our business at another credit union, because we couldn't go back there and overlook this woman's rudeness again, so best to not return.
