    I do not recommend anyone to bank with Michigan Legacy Credit Union as a whole.. this company is now down hill. All of the sudden no one knows what their doing. Fees just get pulled out of your account for no reason, managers never call back to reconcile, and employees tell u anything to get u off the line including informing u that they will work on an issue for u and will call u back which they never do. It’s sad because I’ve been with this company for over 20 years, yes they changed their name a few times but they still use to be a good credit union, but now their all wrong and it sad that I had to close all my accounts with them. But if u want a good credit Union to be apart of, DO NOT BANK WITH THEM!

    Called on Monday to recieve a loan payoff, I spoke with Kaitlin and thought she was a bit rude, but she agreed to send me what I needed so I ignored it. Now it's Friday and I had to call again because she never sent me what I needed, and for some reason she thought it was appropriate to yell at me this time... A personality like that would be better suited for debt collection rather than customer service. I'm just glad to be closing out my account so I don't have to deal with a person like that anymore.

    Family member since we moved to Dearborn Hgts in the 1960’s. All businesses are about the people that run them and who are they really trying to help. The company, themselves, or you the customer. I give the management 5 stars for the quality of people they have on board. By the way: I no longer live in Mich but I just concluded my second auto loan with them today.

    This place is a joke...They have the worst customer service. Can't get a branch manager to return my call. The mobile app is not user friendly. I am going to open an account at another credit union that has better customer service. I have spent my lunch and breaks trying to get an issue resolved and still no help.

    Have yet to encounter one able-minded employee that has an inkling of a clue about what they are doing. They operate on technology from 1990 and make it nearly impossible to make a payment. Thank God I refinanced today. Bye MLCU!

    Cameron, actually we have many ways to make a payment (ACH, Auto Transfer, by Phone, I am sure your current institution has bill pay, we still take checks and cash payments) all of which the staff is well aware of.     Unless you enjoy paying fees for essentially nothing and your credit union doing nothing to work with you on it, I recommend going elsewhere.

    I walked in yesterday to try and open an account nobody would even acknowledge me standing a few feet away. Typical of many business's Downriver. No customer service at all. It won't last in wyandotte.

    Have a guarantor so understandable they don't let me change my pin, but refusing to even tell me what I need to do to change it? I'm sick of place. Don't even want the new pin I'm just going to shut down my accounts and find another credit union. For a while now they haven't been very respectful as soon as it comes up that mine is a disability account they're immediately rude and speak to me as if I'm a child. One teller (when they were still open to the public, mind you), refused to speak to me whatsoever, and when I tried to speak to her she shushed me to speak to my guarantor. I am not a child, I am a full grown adult, and I don't need to be treated as if I am one. I'm sick of this, I just don't need to be reminded I'm less than and not worth regular customer service. It's been a long time and I'm sorry but I don't see it changing.

    The entirety of this bank is a joke. They will do whatever they can to punitively punish you any given chance. Avoid at all costs.

There are many members who never pay a fee based on their relationship with us and that is our philosophy. Staff are willing to assist with ways to avoid any and all fees.
