Unprofessional and incompetent. After using this guy for quite a few years, I had requested some help filing a tax return for a trust of which I am the trustee. Apparently Mr. Kimmey couldn't or wouldn't advise me on the correct procedure even though I submitted all the necessary paperwork to complete the form. I was totally willing to pay for the service. Rather than advise me he responded by email accusing me of not knowing "what the hell" I was doing and then putting me off for three months. Finally I had enough and told him if he didn't want my business to just say so. His reply was "probably, we don't like to get involved in our clients messes? Huh? Well Mr. Kimmey, you are fired for unprofessional conduct and incompetency.

I am a long-time customer of Michael Kimmey and Associates, using their services for my annual taxes and also getting excellent tax advice. Mike and his staff have always been extremely helpful and responsive to my financial needs. Just recently, my situation changed and I asked for some tax guidance from Mike.
