    I’m a self employed contractor. I use my acccount for my services. I receive checks from customers to do work on their homes. Last year when I opened the account the lady giving us the information told us that they clear checks within the next business day as long as they were under $9000. Which is great. I need checks to deposit in a timely manner so I can buy materials and start work. Here the past few times that I’ve deposited a check, they’ve put a weeks hold on them. So several times they have made it to where I cannot start my work until a week later. I have now started to lose jobs due to this bank because I’m not completing my work as per the contracts that I have. I even spoke to someone who said they were going to try and get the hold off early. I was at risk of losing that job. They decided not to do so and I lost it. I cannot keep risking this. I rely on completing my work as per my contracts because this is how I make money to live. I will no longer be banking with them. I’m going to go to a bank that will actually fulfill their promises to people. Especially people like me who rely heavily on a bank for their work. Also everyone who I’ve talked to over the phone just treats me like I don’t matter and my work doesn’t matter. I’m ashamed to ever of accepted the trust in this bank for my business.

    Got a voice-mail and email the day after the Marshal fire thinking it was Metro Credit Union checking in on me and my home. NOPE, it was Donna with collections letting me know my account has been negative for 45 days. Pretty disheartening.

    Metro Credit Union hates its customers. Exhibit A: Metro will no long talks to humans at its 72nd & Cornhusker location. Exhibit B: Metro will no longer allow customers to close their accounts in writing. They require us to go through their magical electronic rigmarole. Good luck to you if you don't have the right pieces of magical electronic equipment. Go to Cobalt Credit Union instead. It's infinitely more human. #MetroCreditUnionHatesItsCustomers

    I have been banking with them for a afew years now and I have NEVER had a bad experience. They have always been helpful. They have been very understanding with any mistakes I've made. They helped me dispute a charge on my debit card that I refused to accept from a hotel. It has been a great experience banking with them!

    WATCH YOUR ACCOUNT CLOSELY!!! They will charge you unnecessary fees and put general holds on your account for no apparent reasoning. Kelsey Greene is extremely rude. I have had an account with them for over 5 years and I am so dissatisfied with how they handle situations and talk to people. I am finding someone new to bank with as soon as possible. I did speak to Marilyn about my situation she was super understanding and was able to remove the hold and a few fees but after I got off the phone with her I received an extremely rude email from Kelsey and although I was thinking after talking to Marilyn that maybe they aren’t so bad, due to Kelsey’s email I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

    I bank with Metro so I thought I would start here for Mortgage questions. When I spoke with Kim today she was very rude and told me if she can't check my credit then she will just throw everything away. I explained I wasn't ready to get a loan yet I just had a few questions. She was very taken back by this and I will not use this bank for my Mortgage loan. If you use Metro don't go with Kim for help. She was awful.
