Worst customer service!! I was there to close my acct through drive through. Waited in line for 6 mins for even someone to acknowledge me, when they did all they said was they will be right with me, waited another 7 mins told them that I wanted to close out my account and then they told me that I needed to go inside to close out my account because there are several questions that they needed to ask me. Remember I already waited 13 mins in drive through. So I pulled around and waited in like for another 4 mins told them that I wanted to close out my account the tell said “AWESOME “. So UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I asked her why did I needed to come in to close my account, what questions did you need to ask me?? She said nothing we just needed you to sign on the pad and to verify who you are in person. I said if I withdraw all my money and not closed the account you would let me do it at drive through but have to come inside to closed account?? What’s the difference?? She couldn’t answer me! The teller was rude spiteful and disrespectful!! I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!

Between an arrogant loan officer, abysmal comunications during my lease buyout, and uncompetitive loan rates, you're better off banking elsewhere. Isn't it funny how now all the sudden they want me to contact them to share my experience... I used their secure message system weeks ago, and was never responded to. The loan officer at this location made it a point to make comments and act morally superior that she's never had a loan in her life... Like loans are some kind of terrible thing. Unprofessional!!
We would appreciate the opportunity to hear more about your experience. Please contact us directly at [email protected] or (800) 237-7288. Thank you.

By far the worst bank to deal with in regards to mortgage services. We had an interim tax bill due, which I sent in to have it paid from escrow (followed all of the instructions online), had to contact them multiple times, finally received a letter approving the payment (this was beginning of September), after 15 days no payment was made so i called back and spoke with a manager, he found all of the paperwork and apologized because it wasn't paid and said it should have been (this was October 15th) here we are October 24th and still no payment, so I called again, after being on hold for 30 min. finally got a manger (who was in a meeting - god forbid they leave early to talk to a customer) who just released the funds to me. However, this still doesn't pay the bill, I have to wait for the check and then pay it. What type of service is this??? Horrible, recommend this to no one.

This bank reminds me of payday loans. Changed by billing cycle constantly on my non interest loan. First payment wasn’t due for 3or 4 months. 2nd was 2-3 months later. Then changed to 3 months. Now, all of a sudden it is every month. On top of that they mail you about 15-20 pieces of junk mail a month. Now, I am not blaming them for my payment being late. I should have paid more attention. However, when I went to the branch to say something to them, the teller just kept saying I should have opened an online account to pay the bills. I told him, 4 times that their “customer service” department told me I could not do that when I called them. Apparently he didn’t hear me each time I told him that, because he kept repeating the same line. Now for the kicker, I paid my bill in the branch to get it caught up, and I notice this morning that they charged me a Fee for paying my bill with my debit card. A cash advance fee they call it. Do you think it would have been a good idea for the teller to tell me about the fee? Yea. He should have, but didn’t. I always assumed credit unions were supposed to be better then banks with customer care. Someone forgot to tell Member’s 1st this . Just remember the motto they must live by, buyer beware. Oh, and this was at the Columbia Ave branch in Lancaster.

Members first might as well be a big commercial bank. They charge onery fees and pay no more than other Banks in interest . When I have my loan paid off I am leaving and not looking back. Check out Discover Cashback checking and online savings for better customer service, better rates, no fees, and more human banking resources.
We’re sorry you feel that way, David. Credit unions are fundamentally different than banks and because of that, are exempt from Federal and most State taxes. Credit Unions are member owned, democratically operated, and not for profit organizations.

This bank completely screwed me over. I deposited a check. Turns out it was a counterfeit i unknowingly received, the check cleared and i repeatedly asked if everything was ok with the check. Three different employees told me everything was fine. I withdrew some of the money and the day after ther told me it was counterfeit and froze my account. The security division were horribly rude. I worked my way up the food chain with absolutely no help. Stay away from this bank!
