Went for the Friday evening dinner. We live local so not staying there. Nice home cooked meal. This time it was the all-you-can-eat taco bar. Nice salad & all the taco fixens. Looking forward to returning on a pizza evening. It is back there a little ways, but not bad. Windy roads. Google Maps will take you right there.

We took a day ride and had such a great time! Dana was a charming guide and the horses were sure footed and sweet. What a beautiful place! We will definitely be back!

MCMR is a very beautiful relaxing and affordable place, with friendly staff and nice lodging. We took our horses and put them in a paddock, we stayed in the lodge. Very clean and comfortable, the most layed back/act like you live there horse camp I've ever been to. They have a nice arena as well as trails to ride or hike but they are not well marked or layed out but if you can find someone that has ridden them before or if you can download a map then your better off. We will be back!

This resort is heaven on Earth. If you want to have a true Tennessee experience don't past up Meadow Creek Mountain Ranch. The horse back riding is fun, the food is delicious, and the staff are kind hearted people. I've visited twice now, and I always look forward to going back. The mountain views are like nothing else! Decent commute to neighboring NC.

Adequate. Beautiful scenery. The bathroom has a bathtub. There is a coffee maker on the bar. There's a TV with local channels. The king bed was firm and very nice. Walk out screen door to the front deck is nice.

HAVE NOT STAYED HERE. Booked five night stay in February for June and then found out pulling out of the driveway by email, that was sent the day before my stay, that my room was unavailable and my reservation was cancelled. It's a 2.5hr drive. I'm glad I saw the cancellation email while looking for the directions the owner sent. I was promised a refund and a free weekend, but I inquired what free weekend dates were available and haven't heard back for 2.5 weeks. Overall lose and real disappointment, I had to take those days off from work.

Talk about beauty, space and value for your money! We stayed in the cabin on the horse ranch complex complete with office, general store, saloon and of course, horses! Surrounded by mountains, the scenery is gorgeous. The cabin itself is HUGE with an incredible master suite. And CLEAN. The hosts are the best - always quick to answer any questions you may have. For a reasonable price you can enjoy a trail ride with Ryan, one of the managers, who also is a retired professional jockey! My husband and I do cabin trips frequently and I was highly impressed. You will not be disappointed if you book this cabin!
Hi Deya. We are so happy you enjoyed your time with us! Please come back again soon. Lynn

It has been just over a week from the time that I had to leave the ranch. I have refrained from writing a review until I could really give it some thought and attention. We were welcomed from the first moment (and we arrived later than expected but a text to Lynn had us feeling confident we were headed to the right place, because the last few miles can seem like you are in the middle of nowhere). I woke up after the first night tent camping and instantly had tears in my eyes while enjoying sunrise with a cup of coffee. It is so incredibly beautiful, it honestly felt like a gift to be there. The land is beautiful, well maintained, and perfect for a couples or family getaway (I am actually planning a few lone trips because I felt such a spirit connection here). There are numerous sites for camping, the lodge is super cute and I will probably stay a few times at one of the rooms there. The entire ranch is stunning and we felt like we were among family the entire time. We had freedom to socialize if we desired, but had plenty of space to go off on our own. We enjoyed coffee in the morning, a glass of wine at night, and our days were full of hiking, horseback riding, and sometimes just enjoying the ability to unplug. I implore you to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner (at least one of each) to get the full extent of how great this side of the Ranch is. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, but nothing compares to the has brown casserole that is handmade by Lynn and is a culinary delight! The chicken Cesar wraps are a great lunch to take if you plan on going on a hike (with a quick text to the owner, we had lunch packed up for us and ready to o when we headed out to Rainbow falls). The dinners have a community feel, though you could certainly take it to go. We enjoyed both the cafeteria style dinners as well as bacon cheeseburgers (drool-worthy). The area is perfectly located to give you a break from reality but close enough to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, etc. Rainbow Falls,Grotto Falls, and countless other adventures are also a quick drive, but there is also a lot that can be done on the ranch. We enjoyed walking the farm, petting the horses, and decided to take a trail ride. The guides were extremely thoughtful of my anxiety/fear of horses while also encouraging to my partner’s comfort and ease around them (giving each of us room to enjoy the ride as we needed). They also became like friends/family by the time we left (we even extended our stay by one day because we did not want to leave). I truly want to see them succeed, they have a great story, and have encouraged all of my family and friends to visit. I hope to make this place a regular getaway spot. Don’t wait, book it now!! Tips: * If tent camping, make sure you account for possible rainy weather (think shoes/boots if it gets muddy) * Be aware that it can get windy at night, you are at the base of a mountain - tents should be securely tethered * Bring a treat for the horses, you won’t regret making friends with them * Communicate with the owners/hands, the idea here is a bed and breakfast even if you are camping. * Don’t be shy to reach out when you want a meal, being that they are a small operation, there may not always be someone readily available but they will accommodate if given a heads up (and won’t make you feel guilty for it) * Branch out of your comfort zone, have a conversation with other campers or visitors at dinner, we met some truly incredible people that we hope to see again * Bring your pups! Be respectful of others (don’t tether your dog to the bathhouse alone) but the dogs we saw were welcomed here * There are primitive sites and sites that have water/electric. Both are walking distance to the bathhouse * There is a pool/hot tub but be respectful of the lodge guests if you are camping, especially if using the hot tub which is off of the lodge * Enjoy a cold beer at the saloon in the evening and watch a beautiful sunset, you won’t regret it
Awww. Thanks for your kind words! We loved hosting you and can't wait to see you again!

The cafe is awesome! Great food, great people, great atmosphere! Loved the live music and the carnitas on Friday night. Then brunch on Sunday, French toast was delicious! The kids enjoyed petting the kitty and the horses, such a beautiful place you have! We will definitely be back next time were in the area.
Thanks for that great review, Kelsie. It's experiences like yours that make us happy!!!
