I had no problems with the MCI Mortgage team. The closing procedure was quick and straightforward. It was terrific that they provided all available financing alternatives. I would do business with them again because I had a good experience with them. Keep up the excellent job, guys.

My mortgage was transferred from another firm to MCI Mortgage. I typically communicated with them via email. They handled any difficulties I had promptly, which were few. I just paid off my mortgage recently, but I'm interested in purchasing a new house and will use MCI to finance it.

In general, obtaining a loan from MCI Mortgage is made simpler by displaying all the tasks and procedures to the borrower. The progress and examination of the application are frequently tracked. They were cost-effective, and I had a fantastic experience with them.

Use your own mortgage company. The incentives are just not worth it. They work for the builder - not you. They go from "don't call us, we'll call you" to calling you and telling you need to make a decision now! There's no consultation or discussion. They assume you don't know anything about mortgages or mortgage rates. Rey Sanchez is responsive but is also very pushy when he calls and wants you to make a decision ASAP. The biggest issue we had was they failed to notify us of our rate lock expiring. When we called Rey on it, it was very much a "you should have known this" conversation. There's no accountability, or motivation on their part. They also had us lock our rate, which starts the 60 day rate lock window, when the house was literally four months from being done. We argued but they said "corporate" plans on closing within 60 days. Again, they work for Megatel and do what Megatel says - they have no interest in your best interest. They also continued to ask for copies of items up until the day of closing, despite telling us multiple times we were ready to close. Nothing like scrambling for a copy of a voided check from months ago when you're driving to your closing. Avoid them. Find someone that cares about you - it's not Rey, it's not MCI and it's not Megatel.

MCI Mortgage is a respectable firm. I had the pleasure of dealing with Mark Jones. He made the procedure simple, answering his phone on weekends when I had urgent matters. Working with MCI Mortgage is a must-do if you're looking for a mortgage in Dallas.

The loan officer I was assigned was very professional and kind. He was diligent and kept me updated on the progress of my mortgage application. I would recommend MCI to everyone looking to buy a home.

I'd give them ten stars if possible. We used an estate agent to purchase a home that connected us with MCI. They were accommodating and professional throughout the process. There's no way they could be a more helpful team of people.
