US Bank is a better bank. It’s better to bank with a real bank or a different credit union. I made a transaction by phone on 05/05/22 to my primary bank to have funds transferred and on 05/31/22 mazuma withdrew my transaction that I had made. It wasn’t mazuma money to begin with for them to make that type of decision. I was never informed by mazuma that doing that kind of transaction was a “BIG NO NO” and not something that mazuma would allow there members to do. Even though my primary bank had cleared the transaction and had give me a confirmation number and email saying that the transaction went through on 05/05/22. Again mazuma felt like it was a “NO NO” and withdrew the funds from my primary bank and did not notify me of this “NO NO” and what they had done. I had to find out from my primary bank of what had happened. It was not mazuma money to withdrawal or move around like that. It is there job to serve us as members and to inform us of what the “Do’s and Don’t” are and if they would support a transaction of this kind. They have terrible phone service. Never get an answer. There not there when you need them credit union or not. US Bank or any bank is better than mazuma.

Atm never is available to use. Kinda sucks u can’t get your money out at your own bank. Isn’t like they have several locations to choose to avoid atm fees. So went across the street to the other bank to get my money out and paid a atm fee.

The slowest bank branch I have ever been to in 40 years of banking! I was there for 40 minutes in the drive thru. They had my money, deposit slip, and ID for over 15 minutes before responding to me. That is just unreasonable to expect someone to wait that long to deposit cash. Someone needs to get people to working on bettering the customer experience! Update: Makenzie reached out to me by phone call and apologized for the wait time I experienced. Just like every other place they are short staffed and also had an IT issue at about the time I got to the bank. I appreciate the response here and the phone call. This branch is also the only one that has the lobby open in Lee's Summit so the tellers are working double duty. I will give the branch another chance and have a little more patience myself.

Finally! The Branch Leader at this location genuinely cares about customer service! I have been vocal about my concerns regarding the decline in our customer experience over the past few years...and I can honestly say that the branch has the right leader to get back to the customer service levels that we were accustomed to, very high. This location is terrible I’ve never had a good experience here they are super slow ! I waited at the drive thru for 10m and decided to go in where I waited for another 10m . The building may be nice but the service is AWFUL! The west location is much more efficient and helpful !

I was getting ready to goin and open a new account until I called to ask a few questions. The rudeness and unprofessionalism of the young lady that answered the phone was unacceptable. No thank you if thats an example of their customer service. You have to be careful who you let answer the phones, they're your front line, first point of contact sometimes.

The staff at this branch are amazing people! They know me by name every time that I come in for anything. They are super friendly and always ready to help, even when they are swamped with members. Two of the ladies here even entertained my special needs child while I was opening up my accounts. They could have been rude about his behaviors that happen when he gets bored, but instead they danced with him and kept him entertained and out of my hair for a few minutes. I have always preferred credit unions over regular banks, but I will never go anywhere else after my wonderful experiences with everyone here at Mazuma!

Mazuma has always been a great place for financial transactions. Unfortunately when they went to a one number phone system you now have to wait for 30 minutes or even more for someone to answer the phone. Then, the person that answers the phone is not customer friendly. I had to ask her yesterday four times for basic information concerning their loan process and she would say "I don't know". I would then have to ask her to check...Four times is ridiculous for basic things like hours, locations and name of the loan officer. Ah...progress. I guess I'll learn to walk in from now on.
