Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start!! Matt was AMAZING to work with. Long story short my fiancé and I were originally going to do an FHA loan but we just fell in love with a house that only took conventional. Matt Quinn provided phenomenal customer service and individualized support throughout the home-buying and loan application process. He was flexible about taking calls and responding to emails outside of business hours which made him easy to contact whenever we had a question. He reassured us throughout the process and worked hard to get us the best interest rates possible. He always alerted us to changes in interest rates, and also walked us through several types of loans so we could make an informed decision about what was best for us. On the day of closing, he was extremely kind and professional. Working with Matt Quinn from LoanDepot was the best experience, and I highly recommend him for anyone looking to go through this process. For sake of ease, and for rate, we initially started the process with our existing mortgage servicer, but regretted it three months in when we were barely halfway through the process. We connected with Matt in early January 2021, and closed on our refinance loan less than a month later. He made himself very accessible throughout the short process; especially with all of the questions I asked to make sure I completely understood. He's quick to reply to e-mails, texts, or phone calls, and I always received a genuine and honest reply. This process is complex, and I appreciated his candor when admitting that things can be confusing for him, too. He was able to offer a very good rate to us, and the fees ended up being lower than the average rate when compared to other servicers (we looked at three). The online portal for signing documents was well put together, and not glitchy like our experience with other lenders. All documents were provided up front before the closing for us to review. Closing took approximately 30 minutes. It's also a bonus that LoanDepot retains a high portion of their mortgages; something that was also a slight factor for us in this process.
