Edit. They moved awhile back Words can not describe how grateful I am to these people. I was caught off guard by the outrageous costs to buy a used bed. They're insanely busy and have the biggest hearts ever. They're ahem primarily the age of those we are borrowing for. My admiration is wordless. Be Patient and try to be clear what you need. Inventory changes each time so they have to check what they have. They used to be much closer to the city and this move has really helped. Please donate what you can they aren't paid. Bring a vehicle appropriate to your needs. Bring your own muscle. You need time to fill out a form at the start. This is to track the equipment for return. I come from a long line of Masons and I never thought much of it but my admiration for the dedication now makes me proud to be a part of the generosity of these angels.

The people who volunteer are very nice & helpful. I have disability and gotten many items like crutches wheelchair & a hospital bed for my husband before he passed away. I have got Vong back a fairly new wheelchair that I did not like and it is a wonderful place to donate equipment you no longer need or pick up a medical equipment that you do need. Bless them all for their hard work I really appreciate Masonic

Best place to get all type of medical supporting equipment for loan. Great services

They will help you to the best of their ability with whatever means they have necessary to accommodate you Free of charge. The only ask that you respect the property and when you are done with it that you return it for someone else to be able to use it. Fantastic place! They were a huge help after my mother had her surgery. Highly recommend, they have a vast array of helpful medical equipment . I'm actually going in today to return a rollator and tub rail I borrowed over a year and 10 months ago. Thank you for your help you've been a blessing.

We tried to return a hospital bed that my father-in-law needed. Thinking we were doing the right thing, we disassembled it because that was the same way we received it. The man at the loading dock was rude and spoke condescendingly to us as told us he would not take it disassembled. At first we were going to assemble it but due to his rudeness, we chose to bring it to Kiwanis where they will use it and speak pleasantly to family members of people facing a health crisis.

These people and this place is GREAT! We have donated equipment and unfortunately had to utilize their loan program a few times. What a wonderful service. This equipment can be expensive if you need to buy it! I have seen some very specialized items going out the door. What they have available varies by the day i suspect, but i highly recommend giving them a try to help with your needs. Also if you no longer need any equipment that is in GOOD condition, think about donating to them, they will put it to good use multiple times and you will like the feeling of helping someone else in need. Thank You Masons!

My wife suffered a pelvic fracture - we drove 10 hours to get home and a neighbor carried her into the house one a Friday evening. On Saturday morning the Masons supplied me with the equipment I needed to be able to care for her. She went on to be struck with other chronic disease problems which finally took her. Throughout the process if we needed something we could not get in some other way - the Masons were there. Heartfelt Thanks to them

I’ve been a regular customer for over 10 years. I borrow some equipment from them when my father, who is disabled, is visiting from abroad. It’s also a great way to save money on medical equipment for the long term, specially in those cases when insurance doesn’t cover all of the patient’s needs. But one thing that has always annoyed me is the fact that many of the volunteers there seem to be always in a bad mood, some of them even giving you an attitude. Not all of them of course, but there wasn’t a single time during these past ten years when I need to go there that one or more of the attendants act like they are fed up. There’s this lady at the equipment sign off table who always seems to be in a bad mood. I try to avoid her as much as I can, but sometimes she’s the only one available when I’m ready to check out. I try to not put much attention to that bc although with her it’s a 5 min not-so-pleasant process, in the end I’m out of there with the equipment I need. Well, yesterday I was returning some equipment used by my dad during his last visit here and a volunteer came to help me take the stuff from the car to the equipment return area. As soon as he saw the commode (one of the things I had borrowed), he immediately said “I cannot take that, it’s missing parts”. Well, I brought the commode back the same way I took it. When I took it from them, the top cover was missing. I told the volunteer that was the way I picked it up. He said: “no, we would never lend equipment that is missing parts”. I told him I’m not supposed to know all the parts that are missing, as many equipments are slightly different (i.e., some shower seats have back rests, some don’t). He said he could not accept it back bc the part was missing, so I said that I had no reason to lie to him about the equipment being taken from them like that, and I’d take it back with me and buy a replacement one even if it wasn’t my fault. He said I could process the return of all the other equipment I had, but that I’d be on the computer for that commode until I brought it back with all the parts, or a replacement one. Another volunteer passing by shouted to the one helping me: “Don’t take it! Don’t take it!”. I approached the returning desk for the other equipment and a MUCH NICER volunteer helped me calm down (he saw my stress). If you volunteer, and you don’t put LOVE and KINDNESS in what you do, you better just stay home. For people at H.E.L.P.: make sure all volunteers there know how the equipment should look like PRIOR to give it to a customer to avoid stress during the returning process. I’ve always praised them in spite of the cranky faces, but things for sure will change a bit from now on, based on this last bad experience.

Thank you so much for helping us in getting the right equipment for my husband. Be sure to arrive early on Saturday morning if you need a wheelchair. Equipment in great shape and the workers were super nice!

All volunteers from The Freemasons helping people in their time in need. They take in donations of hospital beds, wheel chairs, walkers and other home health equipment, check it out, clean it up and give it out for free for anyone who needs it.
