M&T Bank Washington St, Ellicottville

Thank you to M&T’s honest and friendly staff! I am a long term customer of M&T. On a recent trip to Ellicottville, I went into this branch to make a deposit and I lost my engagement ring. No words can express my gratitude to the customer who found it and to the M&T staff who returned it!!

The receptionist I spoke with each time I called was great, but I never got a call back from the loan officer even after trying to call him directly myself. Unacceptable service. The loan officer that never got back to me after multiple attempts was Samuele Buffa.

While traveling through the Village of Ellicottville, N.Y. I was shocked to see a Canadian flag being flown in front of the local M&T Bank. I'm aware that said bank has customers that are in fact Canadians, but Ellicottville is still in the United States of America, enjoying it's freedoms. Americans are currently fighting a war in Afghanistan and as a veteran I feel it's very disrespectful and offensive. I have forwarded my complaint to the local and national VFW and American Legion. I have also pulled my assets from M&T Bank and will encourage others to do the same.

I recently moved to the area and needed to change my M & T branch and submit my new address. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful.
