M&T Bank Emmorton Rd, Bel Air

Seems this bank doesn't understand what insufficient funds mean so they allow transactions to purposely get overdraft fees around the end of each month. Targeting those without a weekly or biweekly paycheck autodeposit. Im a stay at home single mom with very limited funds and now M&T is taking what little i do have in fees. Disgusting! So sick of banks doing this to people and it adding up to over a hundred and fifty dollars because of a 5 dollar transaction instead of DECLINING like normal. I thought M&T would be different from the rest but was wrong. Terrible like the rest of them. I avoided banks for years because of this sticking to pay pal because they dont charge overdraft fees like banks do. Im thinking about going back to pay pal.

We stopped in the Plumtree office on 9/22/21 to make changes to several accounts. We found Alexis Diaz who was working a service desk to be very professional and efficient in addressing all our needs. Thank you! This is now our new office of choice in the Bel Air area.

The bank features a competent, caring, and responsive staff sensitive to the needs of the customer. Especially Mr. Mohamed Shaban. He has been nothing short of excellent, displaying competency and an eagerness to help me with problems I have experienced and some of them have been really serious such as overdrawn account and fraudulent charges made with my debit card. If you have trouble, ask to speak with Mr. Shaban. He has something that many lack in their job, a drive to help people based on empathy and hard work. Highly recommended.

Just used the drive thru to make a deposit. Very easy to follow the ATM screens.

M&T bank sucks. I told them to cancel my debit card as soon as it was stolen. They said they did but they didn't. My account went to -$400. Now they try to say I owe them that money.

Staff is always very pleasant and helpful when I needed inside service. And now they have a drive thru ATM so you don't have to get out of your car to bank there.
