I tried to work with Allen Weinzapfel on March 4 2021, I was prequalified and he did NOT want to work with me on my timeline to close: 25-30 calendar days. He told me. "we don't bump anyone in front of the line, take it or leave, its a corolla service quality job you are getting, cheapest in the market!" I asked, "Where is the service, no matter what level Im buying at, I should feel like #1." Especially if there is $75k in interest to be made off me. Instead I was told, "I don't work after 5pm, feel out the application or don't, your choice!" I pressed for better timings and then resolved to request him to keep me informed of rates trends periodically. His response "lock today, rates are going up. I dont have time to sit in front of a computer all day to keep you updated on rates." Man am I glad I waited. On March 10th I locked with a different company at 2.125% for 15 yr no fees/ points! THANKS ALLEN your attitude and service is a 180 from a year ago. I will not send any referrals to you or ask for your help again!

I decided to refinance my home recently. After reading reviews and talking to many loans officers i came across a flyer from LoanFlight Lending. I started reading reviews about one, Allen Weinzapfel, and started thinking too good to be true.Well, it's all true. He got me a great rate, he talked me through everything, and I didn"t have to track him down or wait days for him to respond to my questions. He made my refinance easy and quick (closed within 3 weeks!). I would use him again and would HIGHLY recommend him!

From application to closing with a notary at my home, best Refi Ever. Being able to upload all supporting documents through the website was extremely helpful. Also liked being alerted when additional documents were needed and approvals given.

Bait and switch tactics. Promised and quoted no origination fees. Now on final closing disclosure they add these fees to the loan. They used a terrible appraisal company and undervalued the property and which pockets them more money in pmi. The house is 6 months old and just appeased for $25k over the loan flight appraisal. They say they will save you money but they will tack on fees and amounts that were not in original disclosures. Be very careful!!
