Had a screw in my tire. I was so so so happy when they said they could fit me in despite being very busy in their service center. I was trying to get out of town and was in a real bummed mood thinking I was stuck. They said, get off the road and pull in here, we don't want you driving on it anymore. Got me in, were super kind despite the fact I'd never had my vehicle serviced there. Everyone was hustling and bustling. Sat in the clean and comfortable waiting area and was in and out very quick. Patch job, free car wash coupon. Less than 45 minutes on a Friday afternoon. You turned my frown upside down and got me back en route to my out of town fun. Thank you!

Exceeded every expectation. These guys do it right. More than getting a great truck at a great price these guys really go above and beyond in terms of service and genuinely caring. They worked with me every step of the way answering all of my questions, meeting my requests and taking the stress out of the whole truck buying experience. They even picked me up at the airport and brought me to the dealership to finalize the deal. Jon Tharp, who I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with, even came in on his day off to explain everything about the truck, get the onstar going and make sure I was completely comfortable before letting me drive off the lot. UPDATE 8/15/17 - STILL 5 STARS! I just had my 4th service visit since February, and am still extremely satisfied. I am so happy I have found a place that I can trust my car with. Seriously! If you've ever had the slightest problem with another dealership, you need to make Lighthouse your permanent dealership! --- UPDATE 2/6/17 - 5 STARS! I left the review on Friday 2/3 at 10pm and within an hour I received a response from Lighthouse telling me that someone would contact me on Monday. And sure enough, bright and early, I get a call from Mike Walker! Mike and I talked, and he explained the situation with the core charge and suggested that, while the other dealerships did not mention a core charge when asked, that they may be "eating" the cost of it. I'm a reasonable man, I've worked sales, and that makes sense to me. But Mike genuinely wanted to make it right, so he refunded the core. But it gets better... Mike also addressed my concerns with the emblems. He was not aware that I was quoted the $40 price; someone else quoted me $40. Had he known about it, my bill would have been $40. And my issue wasn't that I had to pay extra, it was that it wasn't disclosed at the time of payment that it took extra time (part of it is my fault for not inspecting the bill). I told Mike that if the services rendered cost me $80, then it's $80. There is no arguing that. But Mike went the extra mile and refunded me for the emblems! Completely unnecessary, but wow! I am so taken back by the care that Lighthouse and it's employees have for their customers. I opted to keep the original review in here, so you can see that Lighthouse genuinely cares when a customer is not fully satisfied. They will make sure you're happy no matter what! I will absolutely bring my vehicle back for service every time! I highly recommend going to Lighthouse and Mike Walker is a great guy to work with!! --- Issue with: Service/Parts Department Hit a pothole on I-55 and needed a new rim. I am extremely picky about who touches my car and I saw the highly rated reviews for Lighthouse and instantly knew I was going to take my car here. Mike Walker was my service rep and he was extremely friendly! I have absolutely no problem with the people that I dealt with. Mike is 5 stars! However, the reason for my 2-star review is because I was charged a $50 core for the new rim. I have NEVER heard of someone getting charged core on a rim. I called 2 other GM dealerships (Green in Peoria, Stasek in the suburbs) and neither said anything about a core charge when I asked. And the cost of the rim was equivalent to what Lighthouse charged me, within a few dollars. If I had taken my car to Firestone, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have charged me a core. What if I wanted a full-size spare? What if I wanted to buy 4 new rims from another model, would I also get charged a $200 ($50 each) core then? I had to ask them at least 6 times for the rim, which they assured me I would get, but was never given until I got my keys back and went to look for it in the trunk as I was about to leave. I went back in to retrieve it and had to pay the $50, and the invoice looked sketchy, like they had just made up the core charge to get an extra $50 out of me. In addition, they quoted me "about" $40 to have the Midnight Edition emblems put on my vehicle, but the charge came back at $80+! I asked for the old emblems back too, but never got them. I typically don't like dealerships, but since this is a new vehicle, I want all service records on file. I hope this gets corrected, otherwise I'll have to find another dealership.

I had a great experience purchasing my new GMC Yukon XL Denali at Lighthouse Buick. Lighthouse had a terrific inventory of new and quality used vehicles to choose from and that is why I drove 80 miles to check them out. What I found when I arrived was more than a Dealer with a good selection, I found a dealer with fair pricing, transparent business practices, friendly and well-trained staff, and what appears to be - I'll find out in the months to come - a top notch service department. Far from being a hassle, my experience was just plain "good" in every possible way. Lighthouse Buick GMC, and Sales Manager Arlen Edelman, have earned my business and they will be the first place I will look for my future vehicle needs.
