Hands down absolutely loved this place! Michelle was extremely helpful and made herself available at all times of the day to make sure we were doing the process right, she was AMAZING at explaining things and being a first home buyer I don’t think anyone could have explained things better than she did! I’m very thankful I went with Michelle at American eagle mortage. She has been wonderful and amazing!

Disclaimer: This review may be a little long. TLDR at the bottom. So when I first decided I was ready to purchase a home I contacted some national lenders. These lenders aren't necessarily from the state that I live in (Ohio). After talking with a few of them I decided I should give a local lender a shot since they could offer me programs that out of state lenders would not have access to. The second local lender I contacted was American Eagle Mortgage in Amherst. I pretty much just randomly picked a banker (?) to call. I called James Adamcek. James was more than happy to help me through pretty much all of this. Early on James gave me excellent advice on where my credit score needed to be to qualify for specific loans. He then continued to work with me for MONTHS to make sure everything would be smooth once I was ready to purchase a home. He literally walked me through the entire process of purchasing a home. I really walked into this blind, but with his guidance everything went very smooth. I could really never say enough to give James the recognition he deserves. If I emailed him paperwork, he would let me know right away that he received it. Many times he worked after hours to accommodate my work schedule. I would recommend American Eagle Mortgage to anyone looking to secure a home loan. Moreover I would recommend James Adamcek. Thanks Dude. Thanks for all your help 😀

American eagle mortgage basically robbed my fiance and I. After processing our information, the professional that they claim to be, should have been able to tell right off the bat that were not going to get approved. Instead of waiting for approval from the bank, they insisted on appraising the house. They did the appraisal before have us approved for our house and cost us about $500. Us being first time home buyers feel ripped off after insisting on waiting for approval before cashing the check. American eagle mortgage waited a month after the appraisal and seeing that we weren't approved before processing a check. I will not do business with them again and recommend staying away. Terrible experience.
