    After I moved in my newly built home in February I became aware that drawers in bathroom cabinets were not included. In June I was given the phone number for a Legacy representative by the builder's superintendent of the subdivision so that I could order a drawer kit. On June 15th I call Tim (sorry I do not have his last name) with Legacy. He gave me the name and phone number of a person in Florida that would place my order. On June 16th I placed the order and was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks for the kit to come in. She took all my contact information, name, phone number, email and street address. The charge went through on my credit card on June 26th. After 5 weeks (on July 24th) with no word from Legacy I began trying to get in touch with the person that took my order. During the next week I call 4 times and left 2 voice messages with no results. At this point I gave up on her and started calling Tim. On July 27th, I called Tim, explained that I was unable to contact the person I placed the order with and could he help me. He told me she had been fired, he had been on vacation, was extremely busy but would look into it. Tim actually called me back about an hour later and said that it appeared the kit was in the warehouse and that he would look for it after lunch. I did not hear back from him. On the 28th I tried to call but he did not answer. On July 30th I called again and Tim told me he had a guy looking for it, that the warehouse is very large. On July 31st again I called and Tim did not answer. On August 4th I called Tim and asked if we could get some closure on this transaction. Tim did not yell at me but raised his voice to give me numerous excuses. The warehouse is big, they had to fire an employee, another employee was out sick, this is their busy time of year and his last excuse made my jaw drop. He then told me that this was not his job but he would keep looking in the warehouse at which point I suggested maybe he could order another kit. He said he could do that but would continue to look in the warehouse. I have not heard from him since the 4th so am assuming that he has not found the original kit and hoping he has ordered a replacement. I realize that Legacy Cabinets does not make much if any profit from the sale of one drawer kit. I understand that the builders that purchase cabinets for multiple houses is where Legacy makes the profits but the rudeness and lack of professionalism has absolutely been uncalled for. I could have never imagined that ordering one drawer kit could be so difficult.

    Have a new house less than 1 year old. Kitchen cabinet doors have issues with noisy doors, etc..Had a company rep here from Legacy with the local support company, answers given by Legacy Rep. contradict each other. Sort of dismissing the company from a bad product line. Variety of options here are 3 of them. 1. One answer was “WE” could install soft close door hinges, but they can’t, because the cabinet was not designed or sold with that type of hinge, but “WE” as homeowner can replace the hinges to fix the problem at “our cost”. 2. Seems to be a potential problem on where cabinets came from. Directly from manufacturer, stored in a warehouse, exposed to dampness, etc.. so the liability of how, where, what was done with cabinets prior to installing falls on the end buyer, being the owner of the house. 3. Another option is to put silicone in frame, door panel, this might be done by builder “DR HORTON”. Since some doors do make noise and some don’t, I asked if they could replace the noisy doors. We were told no guarantee that new doors would be any better. Don’t understand because we had a bad cabinet door replaced months ago, and had no issues with that door. Guess there is no quality control. I would retract this review if the problem was correctly resolved. New doors if that is a option. Guess the best option would be all soft close option.

    Our kitchen was professionally redone and the legacy cabinets have never fit together right, doors are warped, and the spice rack was poorly designed on such a thin cabinet door. The spice rack continuously pulls the screws out with minimal weight in it. Very disappointed considering the amount of money I spent.

    I am disappointed that I had to give them a star; Google does not allow a 0/5 rating. These are, without a doubt, the most cheaply and poorly manufactured cabinets that I have ever seen. I totally expected these to be made in China; I couldn't believe that they are manufactured in the United States. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

    I have installed these cabinets for a local dealer twice. They are garbage cabinets come in totally out of square misdrilled holes. Poor finish, the roll outs in pantry’s are the wrong size. They are absolute garbage and are not fit to be used as anything other than firewood!

    these cabinets are made very poor on worth the money i paid for them the china ones are made a lot better and stronger bad comp. and very poor workman ship. buy china

    I hope that people read this before they buy Legacy cabinets because the experience has been, and still is utterly awful. These cabinets are hands down the worst part of our new kitchen and we went down to the studs, so everything is new. So first they showed up four weeks late. Thats another month without a kitchen. Thanks y'all. They were supposed to be white. Some pieces weren't even painted. Doors were chipped, scratched and gouged. I've replaced numerous parts of the system over the last year just to keep them from looking crummy. They're warping and pulling apart. And good luck with customer service at Legacy - they dont give two you know whats.... Long and short is go ANYWHERE else and buy ANY OTHER CABINET. These aren't worth the headache. And Legacy should shut that plant down and stop robbing people.
