I took my 1996 Nissan D21 Pickup there, to resolve a check engine light. I was charged $230 in labor, and $10 dollars for a hose. That sent me for a loop, but got rid of the present EGR code. Then, when the light came back on, I took it back, they spent about 1-3 hours looking at it, and could not figure out what it was. They told me that I could bring it back for a full day ($95 an hour labor rate) and let them examine it. I am not made of money, so I took it to a little shop in Bailey. The guy there figured out exactly what it was within 2 hours, and fixed the problem in less than 1 hour. That twenty-five year "Certified Nissan Technician" can't figure out there's carbon buildup in the lines? Not quite what I expected.

The service person Mr Murr greeted us and as we were giving him the information he needed when he informed me that I had an attitude. I apologized for what I don't know He seemed a little stressed to me so I let it go. It was the first service there and the last service that will ever be done. Heck I was actually going to buy a vehicle but I'd rather go to Fred Anderson in Raleigh.
