    Landmark Title did a great job taking care of the title for my new home. I worked with Jennifer Sacia. She was helpful throughout the process and kept me up to date on all the documents I needed to attend to. She was also very personable the entire time. To the point that when I went in for the signing it felt like meeting a friend for coffee. The signing itself was a laid as we joked and she clearly explained the terms and conditions I was agreeing to. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Landmark Title and would suggest them to anyone buying a new home.

    I would rate this company negative stars if it were possible. I closed on my loan on Aug 1st and Landmark was supposed to send $18600 to the IRS to pay off back taxes.I got a letter from the IRS in October telling me I owed the money still. I called IRS and they said I had to prove that I paid it..I called Landmark to find out what was the deal and they said they paid it. They made me feel like an idiot asking for the proof and sent a copy of a check and the back of the check which was illegible. I sent those to the IRS and lo and behold, I got another letter from them telling me they were going to take action against me for non payment. I called Landmark again, and again they made me feel like an idiot asking for the proof again. This time it took 3 weeks to get the information I thought I needed. I made an appointment to go with this material to the IRS. At my appointment, the agent told me there was no record of my payment and I needed to go have Landmark straighten this out. I went into the office and asked them to straighten this mess out, as I didn't need a tax lien put on my newly refinanced house, and I assumed the title company took care of business. After 30 minutes of pleading with them, the manager gave me some meaningless letter, said they paid it, and there was nothing more she would do for me. I went home, sent an email to my mortgage lady at Fairway Mortgage ( who is great, by the way) and she had to send an email to them to get some kind of response. This time I went back to IRS, and the agent said that Landmark has neglected to put my SSN on the check(which I brought up to them) so it was credited to Landmark's account and paid off some back charge that they owed. I am still in limbo about it, but at least we found where the money was (no thanks to Landmark) and are trying to straighten this out. I still have heard nothing from Landmark, no apology, no offer of compensation to me for 12 hours of my time, and they seem like they could care less about my situation. I say to you--RUN AS FAR FROM THIS INCOMPETENT OUTFIT AS POSSIBLE!!! They could care less about customer service, according to them, they don't make mistakes
