    The tellers are wonderful, however, if you are looking for a loan, DO NOT go there, the process is extremely long and quite a bit of lost communication. Over 35 days later, and still no definitive answers.

For the type of loan you requested, the application process typically takes anywhere from three to eight weeks to receive a decision, depending on how easily all the underwriting requirements can be satisfied. It sounds like we could have done a better job upfront to explain this process and make sure the loan product you requested would align with your expectations as to getting a decision and possible funding.     Lanco federal credit union is under staffed and can not keep up with customers, you can’t reach anyone for hours and when you do speak to someone you are put back on hold…only then to be told there is nobody in that department! Worst customer service. Very disappointed and recommend using a bank that can keep up with customers. After 20 years and multiple family members that have been there longer, this will be our last year with LFCU.

    Never easy to get ahold of anyone. You have to physically go into the branches. Not a good bank for someone who has a busy workload. UPDATE: Doesn't let you reply to anyone on google review, but I must say LANCO still proves me right with never answering phone calls. I'm trying to reach out to someone to cancel my bank account since I opened with someone else who answers their phone calls. This bank wont last long with individuals that have busy schedules or self employed. If you want a strong bank with strong customer service check out members 1st. Haven't been disappointed and top notch customer service!

    Only good if you have small simple banking needs. Manager changes very often, they don’t bother even to interact with you, short staff and always new staff for the most of time, Except one or two teller nobody seems to care. If you need to speak to somebody always a long wait. Their customer service representative is never in the office.

    They were very kind and helpful to me. I am a member of another credit union, but I needed to deposit a whole bunch of coins from a church project, they were very helpful and let me use their coin machine without charge.

    Terrible customer service if you have a huge issue, like identity theft. They completely ignore your concerns and wipe out your accounts before explaining anything. Please use a federal bank for your protection. They have talked down to me, treated me as if I did something wrong. It is so disheartening and unfair.

    I will not give this place any type of good review. Do not take your money here! We have been banking with them for over 4 years, and now we have had enough! Just in the last year they have let 4 unauthorized withdrawals go from our account, 2 within the last month. Now at what point is the bank held responsible for negligence with our funds? Also after the first 2 times they promised to secure our account and yada yada yada but guess what? Money still goes missing. Now 2 out the four times they didn't even know about the withdrawals. We had to bring it to their attention. On top of all of that, we now wanted to remove all our money and close the account. But guess what? They want to keep the account open for ten days with no activity, but how is that supposed to happen when random people that don't have their name on our account can just waltz in and pull money whenever they please. This in no way is any type bank you want to be involved with. PEOPLE OF LANCASTER PLEASE RETHINK AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE BY GOING WITH A MORE RESPONSIBLE BANK!

Please be assured that we do not let anybody walk into any of our locations and withdrawal money from your account. When it comes to certain electronic transactions, such as debit or ACH transactions, we have no way of knowing whether or not a member has authorized the transaction until the member contacts us. This is why we always stress the importance of reviewing transaction history and have processes in place to help members dispute transactions and have funds returned to their account. In cases of recurring unauthorized transactions that are not able to be resolved with the party debiting an account, sometimes the only way to prevent further unauthorized transactions is to obtain a new account number. We are sorry that, unfortunately, sometimes there is no convenient solution to stopping fraudulent or unauthorized transactions. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. –Amy

    The people are very friendly but their service is a joke. Sometimes they just shut their system down and don't allow you access to money. The first couple times I was out to eat over a weekend and had my debit card declined and the last time was while I was on vacation. Imagine being thousands of miles from home and have no access to money... You can't eat or do anything at all until they open on Monday.
