Stay away from this bank!!! They will screw you over like they screwed us over. Our account was closed for no reason at all. This was after confirming multiple times the account was properly setup and setting up direct deposit and transferring into the account. Do not trust this bank. They will steal your money and close your accounts. I have never in my life seen a bank as unprofessional and ill intentioned as Key Bank. The worst!!!!!
I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us. I would be happy to have this escalated for you. If you would send an email to [email protected] including your full name and phone #. Also, please include case #71560. Thanks! ^LH

Ok, I never imagined I would write a review for a bank, but this is really for the customer service. On NYE, I was in need of help, and was sent to two different Key Banks for a wire transfer. At the Morrison Branch, Thomas and the other guy working were SO helpful. I was so upset and they were super professional and just made it happen. Thank you x1000.
Hi Cait, Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us, we really appreciate it. I will certainly be forwarding this to the branch. Hope you have a great day!! ^LH

Tam is one of the best bankers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with in my 23 years in business. He responds to calls and emails instantly, walked me through a few things I needed help with and more. By far the bear experience I’ve had with Key Bank. Thank you Tam!
Hi Eric, thank you so much for providing your feedback and the 5* rating, we really appreciate you taking the time. I will certainly be forwarding this to our Branch partners. Hope you have a great day!! ^LH

Tam the bank manager is a complete and total waste of air. The guy makes promises he can’t keep, then after he flat out lies to your face, he will screen your calls after, and avoid you to no end. He completely 100% dropped the ball on a commercial real estate loan for us, then flat out avoided us after because he’s a coward and couldn’t even apologize for screwing the whole deal up and dragging me out for 2 weeks waiting for a solution that he very well knew he had no intentions on following through with. He should be a used car salesman since all he can do is talk the talk, and isn’t capable of walking the walk. Everyone else in this branch is totally decent, and gets the job done. TAM is the problem.
Hi Charles- Thank you for sharing your experience. We would like to learn more about this. Please send us an email at [email protected] with your full name, zip code, and phone number. Please include Case #66107 in your subject line. Thanks ^KC

Very unhelpful during the PPP loan process. Couldn't get my small business " relationship manager" to call me back so I could complete the application. So now my small business is in jeopardy. I have 4 accounts with this bank and have banked here for decades. Very disappointed. Update: I did get a message from key bank about this review but was never able to connect even after several tries. However, my branch did finally contact me regarding my PPP loan which has been completed.
Good Morning Judy, we are sorry to hear about your experience. Please email your full name, billing ZIP code and phone number to [email protected] and reference case# 58480. We are happy to forward your information to the appropriate area for review. It won't be today but we can have somebody reach out to you within 1 to 2 business days. Thank you.^CH

I went to this branch because they have drive up. It was closed. I called the bank to discuss charges issued to me that I had been previously promised, by phone, would be resolved. I was told I had to go to the branch. In the branch the only teller was not wearing her mask, and I had to go within six feet of her to be heard. She said I had to talk to a banker. The only banker present was not wearing a mask. The manager came in, not wearing a mask. He offered to help me, and I said no, since he wasn't wearing a mask. He went and got one, and claimed they only wear a mask if they will be within 6 feet of a customer. As if, putting on a mask makes the droplets already in the air magically disappear. The manager also told me he would not be able to help me, because I was sent to collection. Even though all charges occurred after I closed the account. I left. After further research, the account had been cleared of all past due charges, which the manager could probably see, but lied about.
Good Morning, I apologize for the experience you had yesterday and I will forward this to our branch experience team for review. Thanks for sharing, we do appreciate it. ^LH

Kicking myself. We had a jaw droppingly dismal customer service experience through a re-fi on our home. We went to pull the plug on the re-fi when the bank manager (Lloyd branch) stepped in with promises to personally manage the remainder of the process and to take full accountability. She did. Just long enough for us to finish our re-fi with Key and transfer all our personal checking and savings accounts as well as our mortgage. Foolish us. In the subsequent 5 months we've had multiple service failures. A rash of small checks bounced in our 'platinum, overdraft protected' checking account with over $15k in our savings account. After a call and an email and a week passing, the manager assured me the problem was fixed.A week later, another 3 checks bounce (very embarrassing). Now it's been 3 weeks trying to get bank manager to reverse THEIR NSF fees, cover the NSF fees we've paid for impacted parties, and mainly- reassure me that it will never happen again. I'm still waiting. Promises to 'get right back' slip by the way side. My husband also has his business accounts with Key. He needed and qualified for an extension of his line of credit. He's been waiting 3 weeks now for manager to communicate definitively the status of the accounts. He's stuck now in a holding pattern and is amazed at the lack of follow through. His business is growing rapidly and with just reasonable customer service, Key could have had a strong, local small business account. Instead, he has begun shopping for a new bank, will not extend his credit with Key and will move his business elsewhere. By reading reviews, combined with our year long history with Key (and through several managers/staff), it's clear that this is a systemic problem. Take your accounts elsewhere.

This KeyBank location stalks the parking lot and uses spotters to ticket cars within minutes of being parked if you don't walk into the bank. This is an unethical practice and they are generating quite a bit of revenue ($44.00 per notice) which is causing them to have customers bank elsewhere.

This is the kind of place that watches their parking lot and give “tickets” if you run into any of the other stores in the shopping center. They’re those kinds of people. Do you want to do banking with those kinds of people? No. You don’t.

Best bank I have ever had! They are proactive in helping with my money and my needs and they are always willing to help me with any problem...even when I am traveling overseas.
