this is by far the worst financial institution I've ever dealt with I have had mortages with chase, nefcu and now a refi with jovia please stay away, complete incompetence they hide under the small lender platform (and use that to cover up their poor business practices) nothing but problems......but i must say my dealings with bob richter and pat arena were spectacular they are true professionals with the customers interest first

I love Jovia Financial. I needed a personal loan and they approved the loan when other banks would not. I only had to submit my recent paystubs to finalize the loan. A different credit union wanted to view W2 along with my recent paystubs. I even secured a great rate on a car loan. Their rates were lower than both Navy FCU and Chartway FCU. I will remain a life-long member of Jovia. I hate the new name though.

Just got off the phone with the most rude customer svc rep. I believe her name is Josephine....gives misinformation and very short tempered. Why do I have to wait two days for a check under $500 drawn on the same bank to be available to me? We went back and forth about this issue for several minutes to which was getting her very upset. The new systems installed at the Drive up teller is simply an ATM and are very confusing. After telling her that the machine was complicated, she rudely shot back, "No they're not!" I told her it's complicated to me. She abruptly said "I'm done!" and placed me back into the holding queue.

Bank was once great. Now the customer service is not only terrible but their attitudes are gross. They don’t respond to secure emails, tons of fees , every customer rep will give you a different wrong answer. Phone service works when it wants and so does the ATM.

They are terrible. They mix up accounts, can't provide any information on the accounts you do have and the bank Manager in Valley Stream, Yoganang, is the most unhelpful, unprofessional person that I've had the displeasure to deal with. I'd give zero stars if possible. NEFCU was great, Jovia NOT.

They are not even worth the 1 star but that's the ONLY way for me to write this review. Every time I make a big purchase always get double charged until they're ready to credit the money back. Looking into another banking institution because these people are a complete joke!

Horrible customer service. Inferior technology and processing times- they literally still hand process check deposits and other credits. Hence why it takes them a “business day” to do so. Egregious fees for a minor over draft. They charged my account five times after holding deposits for over three days but somehow managed to process an ACH the same day. Ironically after clearing the ACH and taking their $150 fee they processed my deposit. Do yourself a favor and stick with a commercial bank. They are professional, have functioning technology and reasonable processing times. This bank is so inferior and I’m disappointed in myself for having even opened an account with these losers.

Absolute WORST bank in the world! I make my car payments on time every month AND pay over the min due. I went to make a payment 6 months ago and it said i was 2 months behind. I speak to a different rep everyday, and they give different answers each time. I have all of my proof of payments including confirmation numbers from them yet they still say i didnt pay one month, as to which month, it switches per rep. The report to my credit monthly that i missed a payment which i have NOT. I have been trying to speak to someone who can help since May, it is the end of Sept. They keep sendng me to this ladies voice mail and she never calls back. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THIS BANK! Never had a problem till they became Jovia from Teachers Fed.

Horrible bank. Atms never work, especially the drive thru. Went today with my wife and atm didn't dispense her money. Bank manager didn't seem to want to help. Told us to go to her bank and put in dispute. Another employee made it seem like the situation was a common occurrence. I will definitely look to move to another financial institution asap. Leadership is horrible. Miss the old NEFCU. UPDATE!! See below from Jovia response.. As of 11/18/2020...No follow up call from any team member services. You are definitely wrong Jovia. Name changed along with bad service. Please never call. Business will be done elsewhere soon.
