ICCU was wonderful to work with. Crystal was so much fun and jovial. She was able to get my auto loan refinanced and save me nearly 20% APR on the loan, lowered my monthly payment by a third and helped fix a bad purchase into a reasonable purchase.

Horrible experience with Heather who claims she is the General Manager of the Branch but I highly doubt that. Her generic customer service skills reflect this. Went in to cash a mere $250 check wasted my time for over 15 minutes to tell me 👎...use another branch if Heather is running the AppleWay Branch...her customer service was an absolute failure.

Horrible experience with ALICIA NEFF. I was in talks with Alicia trying to get approved for a home loan. I was extremely dissapointed with the effort she put into helping me, after 3 months of my phone calls often not getting returned, her rolling her eyes at me when I asked her questions, and overall being very rude and unprofessional. I went elsewhere and was able to get approved for much more much quicker in a more friendly manner. DO NOT GO WITH ALICIA NEFF, in my situation she was rude and unhelpful. There are much better options out there!

They help with local community outreach. They help with local clubs and local community functions. They give a lot.more than most places in the area. I love the culture they have and demeanor they work with. I switched to them from a bank for a reason. They do right by people.

By far the best customer experience I’ve ever had in general, and miles ahead when compared to other banks. I’ve never had a negative experience throughout the years. They have always went above and beyond to help me whenever I needed it. Every single person I’ve talked to on the support team, every agent, specialist, etc. has been beyond amazing. I was just assisted by Matt who was great, phenomenal display of professionalism, extremely supportive, kind, friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, and so forth. I can continue on, and I can comfortably say this for every single person I’ve talked to thus far. One of the most important factors that has kept me with ICCU, is how they treat their employees. So far, I’ve heard nothing but great words from employees about their experience. This is extremely important to me. I have recommended ICCU at every single opportunity, and I’ve encouraged dozens upon dozens of friends to signup. To date, I’ve never left such a review, let alone praise a company to anybody. Every time I go into the appleway ICCU branch Michael L. seems to be behind the desk granting the branch a jovial, hospitable air that seems almost at odds with a bank. I've repeatedly seen him go the extra mile for account holders (myself included) and on at least one occasion have seen people wait off to the sides until his lane has room for them. He does an excellent job and any company would be proud to have him representing them.

I've dealt with these guys twice now. Both times they refused to valuate my home at the correct value. Significantly undervaluing my home, twice... I gave them proof from an independent professional broker using a Brokers Price Opinion (BPO) from back in DECEMBER, which was four months ago. My home is worth far more now than it was then, and everyone knows it. At first they went off last years Tax Assessors value, which is significantly low, and everyone knows it...why would they use a number that is consistently wrong and also out of date? I called up STCU the same day and they valued my home at more than $100k than ICCU did. Strange huh? They refused to budge on working with me to get the lower interest rate and the amount I was looking for. STCU had no problem giving me their lowest interest rate and nearly $100k more credit amount than ICCU did. ICCU seems very rigid and unwilling to work with their potential clients. I will not be calling them anytime soon for services, nor will I be banking with them in the future. Blegh...

Got a home loan refi through ICCU and they ran a full report on my credit 6 times in a two month period without my knowledge for no apparent reason, thereby dropping my credit score by over 50 points...from 825 to 765... I have requested they redact or remove 5 of the credit report pulls from my score and they have still not done it and it's over a year later... BEWARE any loan forms with them and only allow ONE credit pull in writing or they will tank your credit score with multiple pulls and this ups their allowable interest rates based on your now lower score. HEY ICCU, remove the extra credit pulls. You said you would and you still haven't. You told me to contact CREDITCO, the third party company you use and they said only you, the client and authorizer can do this.

Every single time I interact with these folks I am quickly reminded of why i switched to a CU from a bank. They are always focused on me, the customer, and helping me get what I need. This last trip I had a unique inquiry and Kassie (I hope its spelled right) helped me. She was very polite, courteous, and was timely in her response. Keep hiring people like her and the customers stay happy!
