Huntington Bank Coshocton Ave, Mt Vernon

I've been with this bank for several years. They always treated me respectful and kind. With national shutdowns, everything has changed the way we bank. Upside: everyone working is always friendly and kind. Downside: They closed all other branches, leaving 1 tiny building to handle everything which I'm sure is stressful. Current location is too small for safety deposit box availability, and only an ATM on the other side of town. Huntington NEEDS a bigger bank in the Mount Vernon area!

I had a mortgage payoff issue that I needed to call about. First, you do not get an actual person that answers the phone. Then, the wait time is one hour. Glad I normally deal with a credit union that can give you better service than this.

Very poor. I'm a long time Huntington customer. Have multiple accounts. But the service at the Mount Vernon branch is awful. I came in today and the two cashiers ignored me and just kept BS'ing with a customer. Meanwhile, two other bankers in an office bantered away with the door open where they could easily see I was not being served. No one greeted me or said they'd get to me in a moment. Is this the way to run a customer-orientated bank?

Just park your vehicle and go inside. Their drive thru bank lines are extremely inefficient.

I have a total of 7 accounts with Huntington and have never had bad experiences except for the branch in Mount Vernon. There is never a personal banker available on the weekends. They need to hire and additional staff member that can open accounts or one that is more efficient and can fit in more than a few customers a day. Took a vacation day to go in and talk to someone but no availability even on a full Friday.

I use the drive thru. Before I pull in, I look to see if there is a long line. If so, I go do something else and come back. The tellers are friendly and efficient.

I like the bank but they won’t let me go inside and forced me to use the drive through when I had a lot of money that I had to handle without any guidance. Could talk to someone about opening new accounts or investment ideas and was forced to put in my savings cuz some liberal BS rules! Taking the money out and taking it somewhere who will sit down and talk to me

Started out as a nice place to bank then after a year it's turned into a horrible place to get in and out of or to get waited on even the atms seem to be down often will be closing my account soon and going to another bank

Hands down worst customer service I have ever received. They also set up my account improperly. Going to switch to PNC now due to it being the only decent local bank. Bank somewhere else!

This bank is a joke they are the slowest bank in town! When first Merit owend them there was 3 branchs and now that Huntington owns it they closed 2 of them and now the only one left is SLOW!
