Huntington Bank N High St, Columbus

No matter how attractive their lending terms look, do not deal with this bank! Over a six month period, I supplied all the necessary financial information on a timely basis. However, when we were ready to close, they had me order an appraisal for my condo and the appraisal fell within their lending guidelines. This appraisal cost me over $700.00! Then at the last minute, Huntington discovered that there was a lawsuit pending against my building's board of directors (for one million dollars.) Since, the board of directors of my building are protected by FIFTY-ONE MILLION DOLLARS OF D&O LIABILITY COVERAGE, this lawsuit should not have been an issue. In reviewing the complaint, it is my opinion that the Board of Directors will win this frivolous lawsuit. Charles C. Hausman, Chicago, IL

They would not allow me to withdraw my available balance today. Had to call customer service to get my money. This location is a joke

DO NOT GET a car loan through this company. I used their "pass a payment" coupon from their coupon booklet after making a year of payments. It required a $25 payment. I signed the skip a payment coupon and enclosed the $25 check. They cashed the check then reported me late to credit bureaus and collection. I received letters & phone calls. When I called to straighten it out they came up with multiple stories - such as, the skip a payment option is $50, they never received the coupon, and "you don't qualify for the option." They are simply awful & incompetent.

Absolute worst banking experience in my life. Huntington Bank of Colombia Ohio is the most disorganized excuse for a banking operation. Transfer of title which could possibly be the easiest of functions the bank could fail. Have moved from Kansas to Missouri filing a request for title transfer. Almost 5 months later and no title. Navy Federal and Envista done within 5 weeks. Lien release not much better. Can someone from Huntington convince me otherwise? Your management is obviously not monitoring your process and employees. You might want to expedite that process. If I have to hear I’ll have that expedited one more time. Get your act together expeditiously!

It’s great that Huntington bank is opening new branches across the city, but maybe they should work on their service quality to attract new customers and not lose their existing customers to other banks. If it wasn’t my workplace’s policy to have an account with Huntington bank, I would have switched to a bigger bank with better customer service that has branches in at least one other state. I don’t think 10-20 years from now, anyone would remember this bank ever existed.

If you want quality customer service, this is not the place to go. I went in person Monday to open a student org account, but they told me to come back Thursday when the person that could open those accounts was here. I left them my number so they could call and tell me if she wasn't going to be there. I called back Wednesday to confirm the person would be there Thursday. I go at 9 AM Thursday and they tell me she's not here, but someone is available at the South location. They tell us he will take us there and send us out into POURING RAIN. Some 20 minutes later, at the South location the man tells us he has a conference call in 10 minutes after our arrival and that they sent us South without confirmation that he was available because there was a line. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE AT THE FIRST LOCATION.
