Reasons to not choose Huntington, Lack of customer service/care. ATM’s only withdraw in $20 increments. Android application is slow, buggy and unstable. Unresponsive to the initial customer satisfaction survey, I had to submit a complaint before receiving word back from the branch manager. If you are looking for a quality customer experience, travel down the road to the PNC branch. My wife and I went to open a joint account in June of 2020. Our experience started off positive, we scheduled a time to come in on the phone. Our Huntington rep we met with that day was Walid Irhima, I have never had such a negative experience. Upon talking to me and my wife, he was very dismissive of her and would only look at me when talking to the both of us. When we were in the middle of going through the account opening process he went on a 10 minute tirade about how he hated wearing a mask and it was useless and wearing one will only get people sick from rebreathing their air. When discussing finances he would only look at me and did not look at my wife when talking. We were simply trying to open an account and did not want to discuss mask policies or any hot button topics. When printing out the direct deposit forms he only printed out one and said my wife did not need one, We had to ask multiple times to have a second one printed. When the forms were printed the information was not correct on the direct deposit forms, when asked about this he did not want to correct the address or phone number and said as long as the account/routing number is correct everything should be fine. He was very rude and oddly combative with us on correcting information that was wrong. We were not placing blame but just wanted to make sure everything was correct. We had to insist he correct the information, which turns out was vital because that is where our account information is mailed to. He had to reprint and correct the forms multiple times, all the while only directly speaking to me and not even making eye contact with my wife who was there because we were opening a joint account, I could understand if it was an account where I was the primary name and no one else was listed, but this was for an account with both our names on it. There was no reason to be so sexist and dismissive to a new customer. For a company that values itself on doing the right thing with a can do attitude and a service heart we could not have felt any further from that with our experience with Walid Irhima. After receiving the account opening customer satisfaction survey on June 30th I went into detail about our experience, we were hoping the issue would be addressed but after not hearing back we have switched to PNC.

This place cannot get a deposit right if life depended on it.I will be out quite a bit of money due to incompetence.I plan to follow up with attorney general and whoever regulates banking. The person that did this should be fired. A $ 280,000 error12/6/21 I contacted the reply email and got nothing. Now I’m working with the FDIC on my lost check of 280,000

So incompetent, unprofessional, rude. There is no care for time and energy of customer. I went in just this past week to get some cash. I thought to myself be there first in the morning at 9, so first come first serve concept because, I had other things in my to do list. One doctor appointment and mechanic for my car. Anyway, long story short, after providing the teller with everything she asked, suddenly one other employee out of nowhere showed up and started giving me hard time. The teller who I was being assisted by was going to take care of my transaction but, when this person whom I don’t know stepped in things changed. She started to murmuring in her ear like they caught a thief and told me that I have to wait for 40 minutes to be able providing me with the fund. It’s shocking, because I’m a customer of the Huntington since 2012 and have been visiting this particular branch for the past 3 years at least thrice a week since it is the closest to my home. I was made to wait for close to 40 minutes, was very stressed because had an two other appointment and did not want to miss those since the doctor appointment is very hard to reschedule. I was so disappointed and upset at the way they handled my business and knowing that I’ve been a loyal customer of Huntington for the past 8 years and visiting this particular branch for 3 years made me to dislike them greatly. Add little more, you don’t need to count the money 4 times. My money was counted twice in front of me that was enough. I’ve already wasted enough times there you don’t need to add to it. By the way, I think the customers would like to know the name of the person who is assisting them. Put on your name tag please so I know who I’m dealing with. One star is to many, you should be thankful for it.

We have several corp and personal accounts with Huntington and have been a 25+ year client. We went into this location to wire funds. We were waiting in a long line, but realized we would need to speak with a personal banker. There were several in offices appearing to be doing nothing as their desks were clean and they were not on phones. We asked one if we could get help. She said she was busy. We asked who we could talk to wire funds. She said she was busy and closed her door in our face. I opened the door and asked if there was someone else who could assist. She said someone could do it in about 3 hours and it would cost $150! When questioning the time and cost she said that branch is independent and can charge whatever they want??!! Since when did Huntington start franchising?? We went down the street and got it taken care of in about 15 minutes for a fraction of what she was going to charge! Can this be possible? Very odd but I don’t have time to track down Huntington’s disfunction.

I have called this bank 56 times today starting at 9am and still can't get anyone to answer the phone. So glad I trust this bank with thousands of my dollars....... maybe now they'll return my call..

I have been a Huntington account holder for years. I actually left Huntington for a while because of THIS location. Due to repeated terrible experiences with the management. I went to them for assistance with both my personal account and when part of a nonprofit. They were dismissive, unhelpful and even downright rude multiple times. I no longer use this location if I need any direct assistance.

Lounis provided by far the best customer service. He helped me manage my dads accounts, it was time consuming, he was patient, kind, and empathetic to my situation. Probably the nicest banker I’ve ever encountered.
