This place is a joke. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. There are a lot better options for other banks or financial services. If I had known how poor they're customer service was or how much trouble I would have had it of them, I never would have opened ANY accounts with them.

I go to pay for my food on a Saturday and card is declined. Plenty of money in the account. They froze my card. Reason? I have no clue, since they didn't give me the courtesy to call me first, send an email or a push notification in this age of technology. No excuses why you don't contact someone BEFORE locking their card. I called number on back of the card. Of course I can't talk to anyone because it's Saturday. So you got time to lock cards on a Saturday but no time to notify a customer. That's not good service. I'll be looking for another bank.

Today's experience can be added to the numerous great interactions I've had with HHCU! I made it in during a less busy time, around 2 pm, and Sheila was immediately available to help. With her help, I was able to open a new account, apply for an HHCU credit card, and even refinance my auto loan a whole 10% lower than what I was paying before! Sheila was incredibly helpful and nice through the whole process. Thank you, HHCU, for the help along my financial journey. Been with this bank for over four years and had too many issues to count. Rude customer service. CONSTANT issues with fraud charges and not returning the funds. Poor Security as well - I received several email notices over the years that their information had been hacked and patrons needed to pay close attention to their account activity the next fews days until the issue was resolved. Very Poor Credit Union.

As a financial partner, we are committed to helping our members try to prevent fraud, which may be why members may notice frequent communications from us on the topic. HHCU debit cards are neither more, nor less, likely to be the target of fraud, because virtually all fraud occurs outside of financial institutions. For example, if a member shops online and stores card information with a large retailer whose system is hacked, their debit card is now vulnerable to fraudulent use. When these breaches occur, we are proactive in either notifying our members or, when risk is high, replacing their cards to ensure they don’t lose funds in the future. If fraud has already occurred, it is our practice to help members recover funds. We help members file the necessary paperwork and then provide a provisional credit within 10 days of the filing. We do reserve the right to withdraw provisional credit if our research show matches in member delivery and email addresses with purchases flagged as fraudulent. Very unorganized loan department. Will not return your calls regarding questions. Typical small town credit union. I will be withdrawing my checking and moving elsewhere.

Been with them for over ten years, and now going to pull my bank accounts from this organization. Staff used to be friendly, but customer service has absoulty dissolved. Had a teller angry I was depositing a check 15 mins before closing. When asked to talk to the BM, was told she does not see customers after a certain time. Just called phone line, and the woman was rude and unhelpful, because I should have known already. With drawing my money, and going over to another bank.
