Totally dissatisfied with the sales team of "Parkside on the River". I was on a priority list and called for construction agreement. I was interested in a particular plan with a specific option but was told they don't permit as they have some limits on the square footage. Also was told they don't anticipate any until late this year. After 2 months, when reached out, got the new message that they were actually sold out with those extra option. I have told originally to keep me in the list when the sales person reached out to confirm my intention to stay in the Waiting List and requested to update me back. No communication whatsoever and got this disappointing message. Will avoid them as the price is also climbing crazy like anything every month. 1629 sq ft plan advertised as $600k before any options and extra. If I am not wrong, roughly turns out to be around $400 per sq ft (+ or -). Oh, boy... Turning out to be Very very costly..

I am in the process of buying a new home with Highland. The experience has been awful from the arrogant sales people to the unresponsive builder. We asked that several pretty serious issues be fixed with the home before closing and they were not. We had a shower customized for my mother in law and they could not do something as simple as use the right grout color. You definitely get the impression once you go to contract with this builder, you become an after thought. Stay away...I have owned a J Patrick home here in the Woodlands and the experience was much better. There are better choices out there.

I am in the process of getting my home built by Highland Homes and the construction manager is not engaged enough. The top issue I have is finding beer can in/around the jobsite...and the construction manager response is he can't conclude it's been consumed on site nor if it's being consumed during the build because he hasn't caught anyone consuming alcohol when he walks the jobsite.

These people are rude and insensitive - we have asked them to turn off their lights SEVERAL times but they just ignore our complaints!! They leave their lights on ALL NIGHT LONG - wasting valuable energy. If this is the way they treat their neighbors across the street, just imagine how they'll treat you!!
