I had a ton of questions for Amanda Laymon and she was wonderful to work with. I would recommend her to anyone for a loan.

I would suggest not coming to this location after 4 p.m. and I would suggest not coming here if you aren't going inside, the drive-in area is incredibly slow, I waited there for at least 30 minutes before I finally got to the speaker and then when I talk to the speaker I had to wait another probably 5 or 10 minutes before the woman was able to help me. Now I don't blame them for being busy at all but I wouldn't want to wait in that line again especially since when she finally answered I could barely hear her or understand what she said and she ended the call before I could ask her so I had to figure out this Banking Machine that I've never have used before by myself. Of course it's simple, but no wonder it took everyone else so long. At least I had no issues besides those, but I reccomend the one on 23rd street. They are super fast and friendly everytime I go there, next time I rather drive across town bc it would be faster than waiting at that one on ave a.

Heartland requires that you "apply" for the privilege of accepting your money. I told them in very specific terms, I did NOT want to apply if it means having a hard inquiry on my credit file. I was assured that there would only be a soft inquiry. Unfortunately, they are so incompetent, they don't know the difference. I ended up with a hard inquiry, which lowered my credit score. I was approved, but chose not to open an account with a financial institution that is both incompetent and internally focused.

I Have had 2 auto loans with this bank with not so much as a late payment . Spoke with multiple people on the phone to explain that my truck was being repurchased back from me by the manufacturer because it met the lemon law requirements. They knew I was not going to make this payment and instead they would be receiving a check from the dealership. I fully understood if it took longer than 30 days I could possibly be turned into credit bureau . That was a risk I was going to take but did not think it would come to that at all but I did not want to still pay for a truck that was a lemon that was being payed off by the dealer. On day 18 this credit union decided to take it upon themselves to take $700 out of my account without my authorization or even notifying me . To me this is horrible customer service and borderline illegal. On the phone I was told "we have the right to do it because the funds are there ". I will no longer be getting loans with this bank in the future and I would urge others to be careful when considering them .

Takes forever to answer phone, doesn’t help solve problems truly dissatisfied and disappointed I thought y’all were better than that
