I was shocked to see the low rating and as a long term member i had to express my experience I have been banking at HFCU (formerly Mitre Federal Credit Union) for the last 23 years. Deborah (no longer there) and Anita have been my single point of contacts and i've always have received exceptional service. They have processed at least six auto loans for me, a couple personal loans and countless other transactions. However, with the emergence of online banking, i rarely visit the bank in person - which is a shame because I looked forward to seeing them.

I have never received such mediocre service at any financial institution. From the first day I was told lies on every product I inquired on. Annita is by far the rudest person I have dealt with in a long time. She has been lying to me for over 6 months and has been holding my vehicle title hostage for no reason. I implore you not to do business with these dishonest people, you will regret it.

We had a wonderful experience dealing with Abian for a variety of services at Hanscom. She was polite, well organized, and always kind and responsive to any questions. In addition, Hansom offered better rates than available at other places. Working with Abian and Hanscom has been a pleasure.

Abian is wonderful. She is quick to respond, happy to take a call and always ready to make sure you are comfortable with your understanding of your accounts. I felt that the direction I took with them was under good advisement.

I have had the most wonderful service from the staff. They are incredibly personable, helpful, and always 2 steps ahead. They provide sound advice. I have been with the credit union since 1999.

Never have I had the displeasure of a more inconvenient institution. They are stuck in the dark ages, dont care about their members, and are horrendous to work with. Closing my account after 15 years with them.

Now I realize why this place has such a low rating. It’s all about the rude staff; Staff with attitude. At least the one that I dealt with was so unfriendly. Her name is Abian. Try to avoid receiving services from her.

The mortgage department is horrible. They are unresponsive and don't follow through with customers. They also don't even know their own policies.

Annita and team are amazing to work with and have always provided the highest levels of customer service. Thanks HFCU!
