My daughter is a graduating senior this year '22 and pandemic aside absolutely loved her time at GMercyU! She double majored in Accounting and Finance and through her internship has a job after graduation!! She loved the business program and professors here! She also enjoyed playing on the Women's Lacrosse team! They took great trips for spring break and really were a family!
Thanks so much, Mark, and congratulations on Julia's upcoming commencement and new job! We're thrilled for her and the rest of the Smith family on her incredible accomplishments as a double major and student-athlete. Enjoy this exciting time!

I have just graduated from Gwynedd in the fall of 2021. When I first started, I was terrified. What college freshman wouldn't be scared? It was a brand new environment and I didn't know anyone. After a few weeks I felt right at home and now, 3.5 years later, I couldn't be happier with my decision to attend Gwynedd. The school has given me amazing opportunities to expand my knowledge in a family-oriented environment. The professors truly care about each student's success no matter what course and they're more than willing to help students get the help they need. Advisors are awesome as well. If it weren't for my advisor, I wouldn't have pushed myself as hard and I wouldn't have graduated early. I will never regret my decision to attend Gwynedd for many reasons. The school gave me everything I could've possibly wanted and needed. As a commuter, the location was perfect. The drive was no more than 30 minutes and the area around Gwynedd is comfortable. Gwynedd is primarily commuters and I think they did a really great job of making sure those students were involved with as much as possible. Events are held in the afternoon or evening so commuters have the option to participate and join in the fun. Gwynedd did an amazing job at providing the college experience to commuters while they also having the comfort of their own home. Overall, it was the best of both worlds. I also had the privilege of being a student-athlete at GMercyU. As a D3 school, Gwynedd offers an incredible opportunity for students to perform well academically while participating in the sport they love. The coaches each play a huge role in the success of the student-athlete body by monitoring grades, attendance, and participation. They're completely understanding when students need to focus on their classwork and they acknowledge that academics come first. Gwynedd places much emphasis on the athletes to help keep the school spirit up. Each team is extremely supportive of the others and they are always more than willing to help out with school events. My time at Gwynedd has been part of the best 3.5 years of my life. Everyone on campus, whether it's students, faculty, or staff, is extremely welcoming and friendly. The campus community is one big family and I'm extremely thankful to have been a part of that. There are so many ways to get involved on campus, from athletics to clubs to honor societies. There's truly something for everyone here and I highly recommend attending. Go Griffs!!!!
Thank you for the kind words, Lauren! We're thrilled you had such a wonderful experience and are so proud to call you a Distinctive Mercy Graduate.

Montgomery County Senior Games track meet. Nice facility except for that dip in the track at 100m.
Thank you!

I love how they care about the public health crisis going on in America right now. Having the anti-vaxxers get tested for covid every week is great! Thank you so much Gwynedd Mercy!
We appreciate your support, Reesa. The health and safety of our community is always our number one priority. Each decision we make is intended to protect our campus community, with a focus on the Common Good. We’re so grateful that our strategies have helped us keep campus open since fall 2021.

A very warm and welcoming campus. As a transfer student, I found a home at Gwynedd Mercy University. The spirit of mercy is alive and visible within the faculty, staff, and student body! All my needs were meet when I transfered to GMercyU. They were awesome with sorting out my previous credits and getting my new class schedule! Wonderful Campus Ministry and choir. I love singing with The Voices of Gwynedd! Happy to be a senior at Gwynedd and excited to be a graduate next year!
Thank you, Shawn! We're lucky to have you as part of the GMercyU community. Can't wait to see where your future takes you next year!

I did not have a good experience.Teachers are tough and financial aid office gets to you pretty late …..I removed myself from this school .
We're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience here, Lorena. We do our very best to provide students with excellent support, and have passed your feedback along to our financial aid team to see if there was anything they could have done differently. We wish you well in the future.

Although I do not have any experience with the education provide by this Christian institution, as a local I am displeased with the un-neighborly and un-Christian way Gwynedd Mercy security officers, or "public safety officers," handle individuals who are lead onto the campus by the local park trail. I understand this is a private university and they can ask people to leave if they are intruding, but simply riding my bike through an empty campus to avoid dangerous traffic on Sumnytown Pike seems like a bit much. Not to mention when I asked one of the officers, "so I need to go get hit by a car on Sumneytown rather than ride here without any issue," and he replied, "YES!" God Bless, maybe the Lord will help you prioritize people's lives over property Gwynedd Mercy.
We’re sorry you were unhappy with your interaction with our Public Safety Officer. We know how much people in our local community enjoy using our University-owned trails and we’re happy to share them with you. However, for the safety of our students, faculty and staff, we must restrict access to our campus, which is also private property. Everyone who visits campus must check in at the Public Safety booth. During the pandemic, all guests on campus also must complete an online health survey and have made arrangements in advance to visit. This is for everyone’s safety.

Gwynedd Mercy provided me with the ability to work full-time and go to school full-time in a graduate degree program. I am proud to be a GMercyU graduate. I had teachers that genuinely cared about me as an individual (which I believe was largely due to the small class sizes) and always worked with me to ensure I was being able to manage life both inside and outside of the classroom. I had great experiences with the staff in my specific program and also with other university staff as well.
Wonderful, Gretel! Bravo to you on juggling full-time work and grad school. Wishing you nothing but success!

Look elsewhere! I went to this "university" many years ago when it was still a college. Based on the reviews, it seems nothing has changed since when I went. I was an adult student for secondary education and the program was the worst. Once you're locked in to their program, that's it - your credits are good no where else. There were at least twenty people in my secondary education class - at the final, only three of us were left - and not because of the students, but because of the teacher. The students I spoke to who were just out of high school said that the campus life was non-existent and boring, that they hated it here (that hasn't changed, either). The classes are spaced so far apart that you can either stick around and be bored for hours or drive home and waste gas. After reading the reviews and seeing nothing has changed in all these years - that they didn't care to change, why would you go here?
We are sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience when you attended GMercyU prior to our change to University status in 2013. We pride ourselves on our high academic standards and warm and welcoming community. We are proud of the ways in which the University has grown in the past decade, while still having our Mercy mission at the center of all we do. We wish you well and thank you for your feedback.

This school is far from welcoming. Staff and students stare at others as if they are a convict. This school is beyond uncomfortable and absolutely not welcoming in anyway.
Hi Amanda, we always welcome feedback and do our best to address student concerns quickly. However, we have no record of your being a student at Gwynedd Mercy University. Perhaps you are enrolled here under a different name? If so, please reach out to the Dean of Students so we can learn more about your experience as a student here.
