Every aspect of buying my first home was covered beyond my expectations. I was extremely nervous about the whole process. But the entire team at Guild Mortgage made everything seem flawless and thoroughly covered. Even after the purchase was completed they continued to contact me about my questions or concerns. If I ever purchase again, Guild will definitely be my first call.

Don't go to Guild Mortgage. This is a bait and switch shop. This is why all of their offices are closing. These are not good lenders. Jamie Hodge and Jeffery Dynak at Guild severely screwed me over.i had a 750+ credit rating at the time of purchasing my home. Jeff advised the lowest he could go on the interest rate was 5.5 then when threatened to leave it dropped to 5.0. He also advised i was qualified for the MCU program to assist with Taxes and the 321 program which assists with closing. I received non (Bait and switch last minute). When i searched for a new lender Jeffery actually yelled at me and called furious. He then went on to malign his competitors and lied to me stating they would do so and so. being new to the purchasing game as well as falsely trusting the Guild brand. I am no the proud owner of a 5.0 interest rate when it could have been 4.2. I am now in the process of refinancing so i can get a better deal. I have to spend 2k to undo the damage and false claims of Jeffery Dynak at Guild Mortgage. Do not go to these folks. There is a reason all their offices are closing. They have no ethics. how do i give negative stars?

No follow up call after taking my personal info. Not sure how this office has high approval rate and noted for helping people become home owners if calls are not returned. Couldn't get info on what I needed to fix or what I could do for approval. Guess I was a waste of time. Thanks
