I called the customer service to make sure that the lobby was open so I can replace my debit card that was cancelled because I thought that I lost . Unbeknownst to me the lobby was closed and the line was almost out to Vaughn Road with that being said I saw a Guardian credit Union worker handing out blue slips I beckoned Rover and asked if she could help me simply put yes she asked for my ID and to pull around front within 10 minutes she came out with my new card and$20. That was truly the best experience I've ever had at any Guardian credit Union. Thank you so much Ms.Dawn Sincerely Anthony L. Guidò.

I opened an account with Guardian because I was in need of a credit Union near me as my other one is over 100 miles away. But I had to withdraw all of my money and close my account! The past two times I’ve deposited money through the drive thru they claimed my money was short. The first time was a Saturday morning and the guy said I was $10 short and I didn’t pay any mind to it. But today the lady told me I was $100 short and I know I wasn’t because I counted my money before I left my home and twice in the drive thru. A credit union should be trustworthy and I don’t trust Guardian with my money. Those two instances happened at the Taylor Rd location and I’ve been to the Eastdale location attempting to deposit in a share branch account and the woman stated the machine said I was $40 short but she counted it by hand and it was what I wrote.

So disappointed with my experience. How online payments with ease are not available blows my mind! If knowing that financing my car through this bank would make payments near impossible outside of visiting an actual branch location at the time, I would have chosen another institution. And I have strongly recommended people wisely choose otherwise. Their only saving grace is the help line, who are so understanding of telling people to deal with an antiquated system!

Unethical practices. Their online banking is a joke. I'm always checking my account to make sure I have money but out of the blue I'm always overdrawn and being charged a fee for them covering charges. some transactions post immediately and some transactions take days to post and its done on purpose to confuse and keep you paying overdraft fees. For instance. if you make multiple small purchases then a big purchase, the big purchase will post first so you will continue to spend money you THINK is in the account only for it to post days later and have you overdrawn by hundreds. I have green dot prepaid card that only shows actual funds I have but a full fledged credit union cant do this? on top of that there is no conveniences at this bank. You have to fill out a slip to deposit funds, long lines, nonchalant bank tellers... the mobile app is missing a bunch of features you can only get by going on to a computer what's the point? what is this CU good for? I am currently searching for better options will be closing this account asap

Piss poor customer service. After stating my need, I was told to sit down. I counted 9 employees to 2 customers. After sitting there for 5 mins with no acknowledgement of my presence, I got up and left. Ironically, I went 2 blocks over to another business and my service was immediately addressed. After stating my poor experience at Guardian (Taylor Rd), another customer, who heared my complaint, stated they had the same problems with Guardian. I was told that Guardian is NOT customer centric or friendly. I normally don't put a business on blast, but as a business owner, I want to hear from my customers if my employees ard not providing good quality customer service. I recommend finding another bank that value your being more than your money.

I went inside to get a replacement debit card, this crazy woman printed my card and up and left the store. Didn't inform any of her co-workers or anything, so I'm just sitting here waiting and I felt that was so unprofessional and do not plan on going back to that location unless it's to the ATM...

Quite possibly one of worst credit unions that you could join. Almost every time I contacted them, they were short and rude with me. I have read some of the other reviews on several different websites and see that I am not alone. Stay away from this second rate credit union at all costs. I would suggest Max Federal Credit Union instead.

Don't ever get a loan with this bank. They charge 10 bucks processing fee per payment on top of their already high interest rates. What a ripoff! I'll never do business with this bank once this loan is paid off.
