    I'm a longtime member of GCU. I find the customer service and friendliness a refreshing change from commercial banks. Brenda Marks is a superstar! She showed me great kindness and empathy this week as she navigated the process of securing my accounts after my purse, ID, cell phone and credit/debit cards were stolen and made disputing fraudulent charges as easy as possible for me. I have great respect for her. I wish her and the entire Oak Creek branch the very best!

    I love this branch! This place has been my go-to for many years now and I have no complaints. The entire staff is always ready to help me out and has gone the extra step for me a countless number of times. From the branch manager, Brenda, to a completely new staff member, the treatment you receive from this bank is like no other! I highly recommend this branch!!

    Ryan Jansen, Branch Loan Rep at the Howell location. Talk about customer service! WOW! I reached out Monday either looking for a car or to refinance my loan on my existing vehicle. I forwarded him all the information, he got back to me SAME DAY with my options on a new car or a refinance. I asked him for 72 hours to make a decision (usually we wait on the banks!) By Wednesday I had my truck refinanced through Guardian. BIG SHOUTOUT to this Ryan and the team over there. You've just earned a customer for life.

    Gina W. exemplifies professionalism. I have never had an issue or concern that Gina has not taken care of immediately. I feel that the entire team at Guardian Credit Union does their very best to help, I am often transfered to Gina if customer service cannot help me. Gina most certainly should be on the managerial path at Guardian . During these diffucult times when finding and keeping good employees like Gina, may get harder and harder , you should know that you have the best in Gina.     I financed an ATV at the dealership and this was the lender they used based on the best interest rate and terms. That said, I really didn't have much interaction with Guardian prior to this point. I've made my monthly payment and that's it. I've decided to refinance with another lender because of a better rate. While trying to get the payoff info, I've had nothing but trouble. I'm not "local" so I can't stop in a branch so I have to do everything over the phone. I've logged into my account but it doesn't give the details needed. The first time I called I waited on hold for a rep for 20 minutes before I had to hang up. I called back a few days later and got through to a representative fairly quickly but she wasn't all that friendly. I told her I needed loan payoff info and she asked "for what?". I told her I was refinancing and needed to provide the info to my new lender. She asked what type of payoff I needed and spouted out a few different options. I told her I needed a 10-day payoff. Then she said, "You're all set" or something similar and I asked how I will receive it? Email? Mail? She said how do you want it? So I asked it to be emailed. She told me she had just sent it. I told her thanks and hung up. When I checked my email it was there (in the junk folder, no fault of Guardian) but it was just general balance info with the payoff amount. Now yes, this is what I asked for but there was no additional detail like where to send the payment or account number (which I didn't realize). So I called back and again got through fairly quickly and got the same rep. I told her I had just received the payoff info but it doesn't say where to send the check. So she had to go through her resources to find the address. I would have thought this would be a standard element included with the payoff request. Anyway, she provided it verbally and I took it down and sent all the info to my new lender. They reached back out and said they needed my account number as well. Again, I assumed it was on there so I didn't ask for it specifically. Also, you can't view it online as it is masked for security. However, most financial institutions display your full account number SOMEWHERE on the site or by clicking on the masked number. Not here (that I could find). So I call again. Mind you it is Friday at 5:23. I'm on hold waiting for a rep for quite some time. Then I get the "ring" like it's transferring me to a rep but to my amazement I get another recording that the call center is closed and normal business hours are 9:00am (or whatever time they open) to 5:30pm. I look at my phone and it is now 5:36. So I called in PRIOR to 5:30, they keep me on hold for 13 minutes, then disconnect me because it's after 5:30. Not a great customer experience. I would think this info would all be included in a loan payoff request as this is the info needed to pay off the loan.

    I have to go through the drive thru almost every week. Every time I have had Cynthia as my teller, she has done an awesome job. She is very friendly and timely in processing my requests. It is awesome that you have such a nice teller working at Guardian Credit Union!

    Guardian Credit Union Oak Creek Wisconsin. I would like to take a moment to recognize Cynthia at the oc branch for giving excellent customer service always. She is always very upbeat and helpful with any banking issues I ever had. I would like to say she and the other people who work there are excellent. They are the reason why I stay banking with them. Again continue with the excellent customer service, and experience.

    A family member of ours created a problem for their employer and the employer's place of banking, Guardian Credit Union. We brought in OLD checks in BAD condition and both the employer and Guardian could have said "too bad.... too late". They didn't. Brenda, a manager at the Howell Ave Guardian went way out of her way to help our family when she did not have too. I've heard other good things about Guardian. It's nice to work with a place that can still finesse the "corporate says" rules a little to help it's customers and even non customers.

    have to say rating this bank 5 stars is only due to Erin long the Branch manager and the employees that I know.During covid shur has been rough not going to the south Milwaukee branch. Hopefully soon they open again so my misery is over with the drive thru in Oak Creek. As horrific the experiences sometimes of dealing with new tellers at O.C branch. I feel the only thing that saves me from leaving this bank is seeing Erin long and some of the usual faces I see from this branch. Very experienced bankers that don't screw up my deposits and are very polite when you talk with them thru the drive thru. Sometimes I cringe when I dont see someone I know cause there usually very agitated like I'm a inconvenience.
