I purchased a car from someone that had bought the car with a loan through Greater Nevada Credit Union. I met the seller at the bank, paid off the loan, and provided them with my name and address. I was told I should receive the title in the mail in about a month. Its now been over 2 months and I still have not received the title. I was finally told by GNCU’s loan dept that they messed up when the loan was made and didn’t get the title signed by the previous owner and was waiting for them to contact the bank so they could have the title signed. Even though they had my contact information, GNCU never bothered inform me of the problem. The person handling the title stated that the mistake happened before she started in her position. In other words, it wasn't her fault so she wasn't going to try very hard to resolve it. Her resolution was to send out letters to the previous owners with addresses that were no longer valid and wait. What terrible service! Without the title, I am unable to register the car, Thanks to Greater Nevada Credit Union.

I really like dealing with a credit union rather than a bank. This branch eliminated the traditional drive through from what I can see (the glass window has been replaced with an automated teller). Maybe you can interact with a live teller via video? I have no idea. Anyway, I've been a customer here for years and have been very happy with them. Their lobby works more like a restaurant than a bank in that when they're busy (which is almost always) they take your name and what you're there for. Then you take a seat and wait to be called. It's mostly ok but announcing what you're there for makes me uneasy. I don't like that part. Anyone paying attention could hear you say you're withdrawing money and rob you once you're outside. Just saying.

STAY AWAY. This bank protects fraud transactions and not it’s customers. This bank is very horrible. A stop payment to this bank means , let’s pay it and charge our customer an overdraft fee.

Charges a ridiculous amount of fees - especially for a credit union. When I called and asked what the charges were, they couldn’t provide me with an answer and said they “don’t know” and could only, by their policy, remove one of the fees for the whole year. After this, I continued to get charged fees. even got a new card. Still fees from the bank. They never helped nor cared to even look into the issue. Horrible customer service. Your money is not safe here. I ended up Closing my account and going to a different bank.

I've had no issues whatsoever with this bank. I have checking and savings with them and have had no issues so far in the little over a year with them.

Great staff and great people just a really long wait time. Even if you make an appointment and show up ok your destination time you still will have to wait 5 to 10 mins easily so be prepared for that.

This bank is turning into another example of businesses using COVID as an excuse to provide poor customer service. Upon entering you are greeted by a screener at the door whose job it feels is much like the screener at the DMV, find a reason why they cannot provide you service at that very moment. While there I witnessed the greeter turn someone away that wanted to open an account with glee. I'm sorry, not today she says but I can make you an appointment for another day oh and by the you need to wait for me to schedule your other time. Banks/credit unions are supposed to provide a service, instead we've reached the point in our society where we have to be grateful if we can place our money with them all while earning no interest and being treated poorly.

I don't understand the many low reviews? I've never had a problem with service at this place? Sometimes the counter service can be slow even with three tellers servicing customers, but it goes as fast as any other bank I've done business with. Getting a loan is less of a hassle here than with my last bank. The only problem I've had is with on-line banking using my android phone: it won't accept newly changed passwords. That has been an ongoing issue since day one.

GNCU is as terrible as Wells Fargo and B of A. There is ZERO customer service. Their Drive Up windows are all automated now and totally worthless. In the process of finding a new credit union that actually still takes care of their members!
