My recent experience with Goldenwest Credit Union was thoroughly enjoyable. Layla answered all of my questions and we chatted like we were old friends. I'm glad I choose Goldenwest C.U. to be my credit union. And by the way I did get approved for my credit card. Thank you Goldenwest.

I had an awful experience. It took them 2 weeks to let me know they didn't want to give me the loan, after I asked them at the very beginning if there would be an issue. I am very well qualified with credit scores in the 800 range, but they stalled so much, I missed out on lower interest rate opportunities. The car is to be delivered in one week so they have left me scrambling to find another place to get auto financing. I will let my future company which is a large co in Utah know, how poorly I was treated.

I love working with Goldenwest staff! We have loans, a small business account, and savings/checking/CD/money accounts and now a credit card with Goldenwest and always receive excellent service and attention to details. Also more favorable loan rates than other institutions.

I would give Zero stars if I could. I have worked with many banks/credit unions and this one is horrible. I have had issue with them taking money from my savings account without permission (putting me into the negative) have another people’s names, emails, and phone numbers on my account. And every time I call in (because my nearest branch is 30 minutes away) they blame ME. I cannot wait to switch my car loan and I will NEVER be going back here.

Great experience. Even though goldenwest is a fairly decent size credit union, you don’t feel the big bank or big credit union mentality. Very personable

Hate that this is the only Goldenwest in downtown. Its so small and they always seem to be understaffed. It's a Monday today, we've been waiting 10 minutes at the drive up just to deposit money to pay my rent. Theres only one worker inside. Seriously reconsidering banking here anymore.

Great experience refinancing my auto loan! Great credit union!

I've banked with them for over 15 years. They are great to get a loan through and are reasonable with fees and overdrafts. However, in the last two years, I have been issued 5 debit cards; cancelled because of security issues within the bank. This last time, someone actually got my information and spent money out of my account. Trying to file a dispute and get my money back was a nightmare. It took months and there was no confirmation or correspondence whatsoever during the process, so I had no idea what was going on. I had to call three times before someone would even answer the phone, and my messages were never answered. Additionally, the fact that they only have three locations makes it really difficult to physically go to the bank if I need to, and their online banking site is not very user friendly. I can't even get bill pay to load half the time.
