Golden Valley Bank Cohasset Rd, Chico

Needed a medallion stamp for some paperwork to deal with my father’s estate after he died. I was told I could open an account and get the stamp the same day, so I opened a savings account. I was then told to come back later that day because the person who could do the stamp wouldn’t be available until then. After I got home, I received a call telling me I’d have to wait 30 days to get the stamp. It would have been nice to know that upfront, so I didn’t waste my time.

I never paid any thought to Golden Valley bank until I saw their latest commercial expressing their passion for the Chico Community, and the importance of working/ networking with local business. I was sold hook line and sinker! Shortly after I merged not only my business account but my personal account as well. Emily set up both of my accounts and was outstanding! She remained professional and serious when discussing pertinent information, but also was great about providing a relaxed environment and we had some good laughs too. The facility is a large beautiful building and each and every member of the staff makes a point to greet you and make sure you will be taken care of. I recommend Golden Valley Bank for your personal and business banking needs.

Didn't want my business when I tired to open a checking account with less than $2,000. Said their bank was usually for a different kind of person, no joke.
