I went in there looking for a wedding band for my husband. He wears size 10. The lady working there was looking and looking for a size 10. Finally after searching for several minutes..she said...found one. I bought it. Later on that day I surprised my husband with the gift. He tried it on and was to small. I figured we'll I guess your a 11. I took it to jeweler to size it up to a 11. He told me that this ring was never a 10. It's a 9. The lady at gold star lied to me to make the sale. She realized she was out of 10s so lied to me and told me it was a 10 to close to sale with me. Please be careful when looking for certain size there.

Terrible, rude and a total scam. I have appraised antique jewelry and she tried to tell me it was all fake. Gross. Do NOT bother! If you have high end jewelry or antiques pieces go to Miriam’s in San Marco!

The staff at Gold Star is always helpful, polite and courteous. I lost my wedding set and Judie help me find a replacement and for that I am thankful and will always make this my first stop when shopping for Jewelry.

Most pawn shops throw everything on the shelves and are full of uncomfortable encounters with sketchy people. Decent selection of guitars and stringed instruments, not a bunch of Korean plywood starter strat/SG knock offs. Their specialty is jewelry, they've repaired rings, special ordered pieces for me, and found the perfect setting for some loose sapphires I had. If your pockets are deeper than mine than come here for rolex watches and antique jewelry. Theyve answered every question I've ever had and made helpful suggestions to direct me to what I had pictured in my head. Don't go to a crackhead ATM, go here.

Only place I know of that gives you a warranty on your purchase. Makes them very reliable especially in this day and age when people try to scam you. I go here for all my big savings. Highly recommend them.
