The staff is helpful and friendly. However the way business is conducted is seriously archaic. It's 2021 things at this establishment need to improve technology wise. It's time to catch up to the competition. My brother has a different bank and did his entire mortgage without ever stepping foot into a branch. I,however, got a $400 loan and have been in numerous times and had to make numerous calls/messages before even closing the loan. Also your employee turnover rate is awful. Maybe start questioning why so many people have chosen to be employed elsewhere.

Anytime I ever call here, the people have the worst attitudes. I don't know what is going on that they are so miserable but it's poor customer service.

They don't even do secured loans without a high credit score which makes no sense for a SECURED LOAN. Bank is a joke

Closes at 6pm and I call at 5pm for some help but they send me to voicemail immediately and tell me they're closed way earlier than they should be.

Zero stars. The GFA was once really the "people's bank". That has been gone for a long time with poor customer service and no incentives to want to bank there. More barriers to banking at GFA than access. The online banking dismal: archaic as another reviewer posted for sure.

Do to the constant unprofessional and rude behavior and how poorly it is run, I am here to say that I have never met a bank that has cost me excessive amounts of money. Thankfully I recorded them on the phone multiple times so my lawyer and myself addressed these matters in which I have sadly suffered for and plan to see it dealt with. It’s disappointing and sad to see but the outcome will be on a bank that lies and breaks felony laws

I recently moved to the area, wanted to establish a banking relationship locally, so I opened a couple accounts, both basically fluff accounts with my extra $ direct deposited weekly, applied for a small loan on a small piece of equipment, (mind u there is enough fluff cash in these accounts to pay cash) 3 weeks for an answer. Called my old CU (the day before GFA finally gave me an answer) had approval in 1hr. GFA a Joke, guess I'll move my fluff accounts back to my old CU. Banking goes both ways.

The Parker St location is horrible! The ATM is always down. The other day I went to the ATM surprisingly it appeared to be working. Unfortunately it was not. It never dispensed my cash. I called the bank the next morning as it was past business hours the day before and was told since it was a Saturday they would have to wait til Monday to resolve the issue. They also stated they have other complaints of similar issue. I understand so Monday comes around and NOTHING. Oh and of course they are closed before I get out of work. Super aggravating and beyond done with the customer service at GFA. All they do is mask all the issues they have going on. All I'm asking for is the money that was never received but now I'm being told I have to go into a branch to file a dispute

Best Bank around, honestly I have nothing but good things to say about the team in the Peterborough Branch. Friendly, Courteous, Efficient and Precise. I've been a member for over 10 years and I couldn't recommend a better Credit Union!!
