Absolutely the worse customer service if any at all. Once they completely lost a deposit and now my son made his RV payment through the app and low and behold they sent the check to me even though the pay to order is “Georgia’s Own”. I tried to call and as I type this review sitting at Georgia’s Own Credit Union I drove the 35 miles to the bank and now have been here 1.5 hours and been on hold for 2.15 hours. Do you people really think that we as customers reply have hours to be on hold and even spitting in the lobby. You people have always been like this so don’t blame it on employee shortage or Covid !!!! I have 5 accounts with this bank, I believe it’s time to leave for a bank that has “customer service”!!!!

People are nice but the service is extremely slow. As stated in other reviews. If you need to work with a banker, you sign in and simply wait for a long time. The lobby may be have a few people waiting. The bankers either are not at their desk, talking with fellow staff or just taking longer to process transactions. I notice with many staff there. I prefer to be in/out as quick as possible.

I wholeheartedly believe that Jeremy Hensley is the ONLY reason this branch functionally operates. Despite ATM difficulties, Hensley's drive to accommodate accounts separates him from what others would do for you at any other financial institution. His presence is notable to many accounts and there has to be a reason. Jeremy's character and ethic is something to be trusted. From a financial angle, I could only trust Jeremy because of where his heart is and how he wishes well on others. I do not think I would be a member of Georgia's Own unless it was for JEREMY. I've walked into this institution many times and time after time Jeremy is the ONLY one that will greet you with a sincere smile and take care of you. Jeremy should honestly be in the position of the person who is running the branch. I believe that the negative reviews of this location are ONLY due to the incompetence of the branch manager ( the individual who is always in his office and walking around with a smile instead of taking care of accounts. THANK YOU JEREMY, you are the only reason why I am still a member.

ALWAYS understaffed, front clerks are short and rude. And service wise just to talk to some you have to wait about an hour to 2 hours. I came for a new debit card that only takes not even 10min had to wait FOREVER just to have someone help. Ridiculous. The waiting lobby is a joke too no where to stand or sit.
Unfortunately, as with many businesses, staffing is more difficult right now and we are experiencing longer wait times across the board. We refinanced our auto loan with Georgia's Own Credit Union in 2018. We recently paid off our auto loan on 12/16/2021. We have since moved out of state and need the title to register our vehicle in the state in which we reside. Georgia's Own is refusing to release the title to the state of GA, so the state can mail the title to us (GA is an electronic state). We have had to go through a ridiculous process of contacting our local tag office and have them request the title be mailed to them, so we can register our vehicle. I would like to add that we have NO debt to this credit union, and this was NOT a collateral loan. BEWARE if you go to finance/refinance an auto loan with them, you will not be able to get the title to your car. We also used to be account holders with them. The service was poor and it is impossible to ever get anyone on the phone, hence why we left. Beyond frustrated!!

I left Chase to come to Georgia’s Own & have not regretted it! PERIOD!! I’ve had car loan issues, credit card issues, account issues & these people have handled it with the professionalism we ALL want to see & experience. It can be slow at times, but that’s my only complaint so far. I do realize, it’s a business, things happen. Life goes on babe! Have a great day people & SMILE AT SOMEBODY TODAY & STOP COMPLAINING!!!

I have been on the phone for a hour and more and when I did get to speak to someone it was from the support banking también which is not the actual Bank so that person could not help me at All!! Worst banking exprience Ever!!! Glad I only use the to pay my bills

This location has great customer service; the staff is very friendly. It’s nice and clean and they even have free coffee and tea. The only problem is they are very slow. Every time. Be prepared for a wait.

I was about to grab dinner and i somehow misplaced my debit card a few days and drove over to this branch. Somehow thinking they stayed open until 5pm. I got to the drive thru teller and was told they were closed but i asked how i could get debit card issued because i had lost mine. The lady was happy to assist me but told me they close at 4 and it was 4:18 when i arrived. I felt bad but she stayed with me until I got my card. It took nearly 10 minutes but she was sweet enough to help me even though she didnt have to. Her name was Adrian! Adrian thank you so much for going above and beyond for your members. I wont forget that one!

Waited in the long line of cars for over an hour to make one loan payment via check since the credit union apparently doesn't let you pay online from another bank. This is the worst customer service ever. Wells Fargo has people outside to assist with the simple stuff so that took literally 2 mins. But not here. Time to switch the account to a better institution that believes in customer service
