This has to be the worst bank in the state of Georgia. Can rarely make a deposit because the ATMS are rarely properly working. Amenities like coin counter either closed or not functioning properly. I have had one pleasant staff encounter out of 50. I have been banking with GAO for over 10 years and finally had enough. My new last name is Collins for whoever from social media is reading this, can you please have someone call me so I can cancel all my accounts. Maybe I’ll have better luck with a call back this way

Ok, this isn’t your normal teller-type bank. I don’t know why it is set up this way, but I guess the company had a reason. Knowing that this is teller-less, however, I will base my review on the service *in the branch* (I get that trying to call the bank with the central number is sometimes difficult - but dudes - don’t review the branch based on this. They don’t have anything to do with it!). I have a complex banking setup with Georgia’s own. I’ve been with them for well over 10 years and although the ‘call-in people’ who don’t know you tend to do things in a less-personal, let’s score you way, this branch is a world away. I am a semi-frequent visitor to this branch and haven’t met anyone who wasn’t friendly and I felt didn’t have anything other than a helpful mentality. It comes across as genuine. They have always been efficient - even when learning a specific process in front of me - they do their best. They have even been patient with me (when standing at their desk and calling another bank for a ‘what the heck is happening’ call. I’d like to call out Jason, and a young lady with long blond hair who is frequently at the greeting desk (apologies for not knowing her name), for always being kind, efficient, and professional. Jason in particular for working with corporate immediately to resolve a specific issue I had yesterday. Dude needs a star. Notwithstanding the limitations of this branch, I have - on every occasion - found that everyone in this branch embodies what I look for in a banking relationship - and thank you. In a separate conversation let me talk with the designers of the user interface of those machines at the back...

Banking services in person are commendable. Hours are streched thin however during the week and Saturday making visiting difficult for anyone with a full time job. This coupled with horrific call in customer care makes it almost innefectual to do any pertinent business should an issue arise. Need to change an address? Apply for a higher credit limit? Auto loan? Get a new card issued to a new address? Anything a bank should be able to easily do over the phone IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! You have been warned!
We're sorry you've had this type of service from us, but appreciate the feedback. We do have an option to submit changes via our online banking message center, but understand that some people prefer to speak in person or over the phone. If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know at [email protected]. Thanks!

Completely asinine that they’re STILL unavailable for lobby service because of the “pandemic” even though virtually every other business in the state is open. The regional manager or whoever’s in charge of this decision must be brain dead. Not to mention, the drive-up ATMs are ALWAYS BROKEN. Get it together, GA’s Own. You’re about to lose ANOTHER customer.

It’s a really nice looking bank and the employees are very nice but it’s a “teller less bank”. That means that you have to deposit your own cash and the machine refuses any notes that have the slightest little fold on them. A transaction that would take little to no time at any other bank ends up taking so much longer. Now, I have to drive to another branch to deposit money that the machine won’t take. They should have at least one teller to help customers that the machine can’t help instead of making me go elsewhere.

I have been a customer since they were Georgia Telco, moving to a different bank. Service is awful, trying to reach someone via phone is impossible. About six months ago applied online for an auto loan and received instant approval, it was almost three weeks before I heard back from anyone, already had the car by then. Guy that called me back said "we are just really busy". Doing what? They block our cards all the time for fraud when the transactions are legitimate, but the actual fraud attempt went straight through. Not even going to get into the branch personnel. They are definitely a company that wants to go out of business. Pathetic.
David - We're sorry to hear you feel this way and hate that you've had a bad experience with us. If you'd like to have someone reach out to you regarding this or any other issues, please email us at [email protected]. Thanks!

Fantastic location with employees that truly care about the client. Both Adesola and Jason have been wonderful to work with and have gone above and beyond. They've assisted on several adds and modifications to to my accounts as well as auto loans and are now helping drive a home refinance with Daniel. They have some of the best rates around and will work hard to beat any competition. I'll update this review once my home refinance is complete to add more details on how that goes.
Rick - Thanks for the feedback! We're happy to hear you've been taken care of by our Roswell team! Thanks for being a great and loyal member!

Just moved to the Roswell area and shopping for a more local bank or CU to open some accounts. I finally got through all the push buttons to wait for the next available associate and gave up on that after 5 minutes. Called back and tried to immediately reach a live person and got disconnected twice. Def a first bad impression and not the service i'm looking for. Next.
Sorry that this was unpleasant first experience for you. We'd love the opportunity to make it right and earn another shot at your business. If you'd like, please email us at [email protected] with your contact info and we'll have someone reach out. Thanks!

The customer service is the best I have experienced in years!!! I refinanced all my vehicles loans and got a lower rate. The process was so quick. Cannot say enough about the professionalism of my loan officer, Mr. J. Fisher and the entire CU staff... I would recommend this specific CU to anyone ...
