Garden State Check Cashing Market St, Newark

The absolute worst establishment that I have ever been in in Newark. The Customer service is GHETTO.If you purchase a money order for over 1,000 dollars, you must show ID as well as let them know what you are purchasing it for(which is none of their business.) I will never go back there again!!!

If I ever have to use a check cashing place, I come here. I used to come every Friday (payday) and then I stopped working, but this is my check cashing place of choice. I’ve never had a bad experience. It does get busy at certain times of the day, but they try to get everyone in and out quickly.

Always tested me right. It's nice cause if you come a few times they remember you and it's nice dealing with people who aren't machines that talk to you normal. I always have a good experience with staff sometimes the customers are a bit much when they don't get there way but staff handles it properly and we're all go about after day!

There is usually a painfully long line, and it seems to move very slowly! And the staff, who will never be accused of being overly friendly, have been noticeably nicer, imo! There's a plus!

Love this place. I get my money orders here every month. The workers are ok. I never have had a problem with any of them. I've been using this place a long time.

Terrible experience...Will not be going back! They make mistakes and have no remorse! Done... If you want good customer service, i would not recommend

This is the slowest check cashing place I have ever been to. They laugh and joke and move very slow. Very unprofessional! All staff should be fired including the manager

Sometimes a line but they get you in and out and the lady there had amazing rings and jewelry

Always Friendly..Always Polite..Lines are sometimes long, but that's to be expected its in a prime location...but still pretty fast and efficient !!

Extremely terrible customer service skills including manager
