My Aunt died on January 9, 2022. My wife called this Freedom Credit Union a few days later and informed staff of my aunt's passing. My wife requested that my Aunt's account be frozen. Freedom Credit Union assured my wife this would be done. After looking at my Aunt's account statement, I have learned that multiple withdrawals ($1,000 each time) occurred during the month of January, 2022. Freedom Credit Union either dropped the ball or passed it down field. Either way , Freedom Credit Union is responsible for replacing thousands of dollars. People, do not trust your money with this Credit Union.

Why don’t they participate in shared branching anymore??? I thought that was the whole point of a credit union was to be able to access your account at other credit unions? To make matters worse, I tried cashing a freedom credit union check, and I was told that I couldn’t pick my denominations because the machine dispenses the money. What kind of bank does not let you get the specific denominations you need?

After being a member for over 10 years I find that this bank doesn't help their members, not to mention the gross experience I had with one of their loan specialist named Shamika Burden. She is rude and very unprofessional with a nasty attitude and this bank wants to be referred to people's families and friends? They must be kidding. At first when I started banking at Freedom I was really happy with their services, but not anymore. I find it very hard this days.

This is crazy, so difficult to move around this "New Upgrade" NOT!! Nothing is simple, everything so difficult. Beware.....trying to tranfer money from savings to checking to pay my taxes, if you put for instance 1500.00 the one disappears. Looked like 500.00 went back put the one in........looked fine, completed the transaction and it took much larger request out of my savings. Someone needs to make that field bigger so you can see the whole amount you are sending. No one there to talk to, told me all I could do was write a review. No manager, no president........someone needs to fix this quick!! Why should I have to post my name....to complain about a problem. The person that wrote this program must be mentally ill. I would love to get a response from someone in authority about this experience.

Hello, since the bank has relocated from Jacksonville rd to street rd i have been having constant issues with the atm machine outside when using my card. My card will work for about 6 months then after that the machine no longer reads it and returns it. My card works fine with the machines inside but they are not open on weekends and during the week days its open from 9:00am-4:30pm. On a normal work day they are closed by the time I get there so it makes it difficult for me to use the inside atm machine being that they do not open on weekends. Today, I left work early to get it taken care of (losing 1-2hours of pay) . I was able to go inside to discuss the issue I'm having with the outside machine. I talked to a bank teller named Liz which she was very rude as i explained to her my situation. Her response was (mind you i do construction and just got done doing concret so my clothes are torn) i need to take better care of my things. I told her i do and that i keep it sealed in my wallet then she continue to say that she can see i clearly don't. Now i admit the card is not perfect but only has wear and tear as any card would but I said that i only use the card maybe once or twice a month and told her it must be the machine. We walked over to the machine outside and showed her it was not accepting my card. We went back inside and I showed her that it worked on the machine inside but not the machine i mainly use (the outside machine). So i responded how does it work here and not outside if its the card and you suspect i neglect my card, she continued to say there is no way its the machine and that i need to take better care of it and that i would be charge if it happens again. Not wanting to get into a pointless argument i left needless to say i will probably be back in 6 months being it seems that the life expectancy of a card in order to be excepted by the atm machine outside. I recommend not working with Liz and im going to another lady next time.

Worst bank ever. Horrible hours. Horrible customer service rude members to me said mean things to me. The machine after hours sucked in my money and debit card and said i couldnt get it back. Took forever to grt business bank account. So much more cant wait to leave this place. Cant even leave voicemails for emergencies on the phone after hours.

Use this bank because it was set up for me as a child but they genuinely have the worst service, are rarely helpful over the phone and there are FREQUENT errors with my account. Would not recommend to anybody.

I am trying to close my auto loan with this bank. No one wants to do their job, no one is available, there’s no direct contact numbers. You have to call and wait at least 30 mins to talk to anybody just for them to tell you they’ll send an email and then they never get back.I was also told to go onto my mobile app yeah well my account isn’t even eligible for a mobile app!!! I don’t recommend this bank at all.
