    If I could give this place zero stars I would, my experience here was awful, was being asked to jump through one hoop after another to get a vehicle loan when I have good credit, income and everything needed to purchase car. I have had multiple vehicle loans from other credit union only came here because of cheap rates, after they made me jump through hoops because “they hadn’t dealt with me before” the attempted to do the same for the dealership because “this is their first time dealing with them”…. Even called the dealer to ask if I paid the funds down that the dealer clearly stated on the bill of sale … just terrible experience….

    I don’t understand why most banks only have one person available to open a new account. They have like 4 or 5 cubicles. But only one person working. And sometimes there are more people working. However the other person only is in charge of Mortgages. The wait is quite long and there’s no reason for it. Finally I want to say that staff was friendly and attentive. When I asked if I could use the restroom. One guy stopped his phone conversation and told where the restroom was.

    I've been with founders for about 3 or 4 years. I've always heard good things Bout them but I've been experiencing problems with them. I went to take money out of my savings account and I couldn't because it told me there was not enough money in my account. And I just got paid. This 3 times this has happened. So I believe I will be changing banks soon.

    If I could give it one star I would!! My husband went after work one day. He walked in at 3:19 and didn't leave till 5:45 because a worker did NOT want to help him. She deliberately ignored him. She tried her very best not to have to help him. When her coworker confronted her about not helping a customer she still didn't help till 45 minutes later. When she called him up to her desk she informed him he would have to wait because she had other people to help. Went to the window to help another person before completing my husbands transaction. The loan officer was very helpful. But the teller made things very aggravating. We will not be doing business with Founders Federal Credit Union if this is what we have to deal with. Thank you.

    Under normal circumstances, I'd give them 5 stars. I've been a loyal customer for about 4 or 5 years now. I had 3 different accounts with them. I made some purchases through PayPal that were supposed to be taken from another card that's not affiliated with Founders. Well it came out of Founders which I realize was a mistake on PayPal. However, I was charged an outrageous amount of overdraft fees. The fees totaled almost $200. That's NOT including my purchase I paid for with PayPal. When I went to explain the situation with Founders, I was hoping for them to credit back a few of those fees. Not all but more than the $32 out of $200 I had taken away, just out of good customer service. They told me it wasn't a Founders mistake so they were only giving me one of the fees back. Ok, I accepted that. I simply asked that they not allow anything to come out if the money isn't there. I checked my account this morning & I've been charged another $64 in fees. When I inquired about that, once again it wasn't their fault that PayPal tried to pull again so they weren't giving me back any of the fees, even though I had asked them to not allow the account to overdraft in the event it happened again, which in my opinion would be a mistake Founders made. My sister in law works for a different bank & I have a friend that works at another & they both said their banks would normally refund the fees the first time. So if you think you have a good relationship with Founders, that's great. But don't make an honest mistake & make sure PayPal doesn't make a mistake because they'll treat you with poor customer service leaving you feeling like they simply don't care & that you've been robbed.

    I was the subject of fraud while I was in basic military training and since it passed there certain number of allotted days to fix it they wouldn’t do a thing to help. I was down around 1800 dollars with no help from founders. I recommend banking anywhere else.

    The loans are great. The interest rates are great but if you have to go for anything other than to talk to a teller make sure you are off that day bring Plenty of water and to be on the safe side pack a lunch. It's absolutely ridiculous!

    $10 to make a payment over the phone or online? Why? Is this bank located in 1931? And don’t answer this with some cookie cutter response. Really think about that. $10 to make an on time payment? Or I have to take time out of my day to go there. Really? REALLY?

    GAFFNEY PSA SERIOUSLY don't bank here. I've told my mom 100 times to change banks. Fraud department caught someone making iTunes charges tells her to come in and get a new card (she does) and now they won't fix the charges. The lady ask her how many Apple devices she owned and then act like she didn't believe her when she said none!!!!! Told her it must be her grandkid in California (which she does not have).
