Lacks any modern day banking features for the most part. ATM is outdated, bill pay is outdated, paying a loan with online banking is difficult, credit cards are offered through a third party.

Thieves. Straight thieves. Horrible customer service. One day their mobil banking shows I have $90 available to spend with a pending $100 dollar charge & pending $390 charge. Nothing else pending. Go on trip for a few days with poor cell service, used my card a few times for some small purchases totaling maybe $45ish, check the account four days later when the trip is over, had cell serivce again was had returned to work life to find it's overdrawn with almost $300 in overdraft fees, now shows diffrent numbers than before claiming the 390 charge over drew my account. Never got one notice of any kind, even though I opted for it. Called customer service and get routed to a main office. Told them the problem and that they showed the wrong numbers in the account and also failed to notify me of anything and that I'm not going to be responsible for those fees to try and straighten this all out, got told the branch has to call me, that took two days and all the branch lady wanted to do was talk down to me as if I'm stupid and justify themselves to say its not their fault they can't always add and subtract to show the correct available balance, it was my fault for trusting them to handle anything and expecting them to do what they either lied about or straight up didn't explain when I opened the account, said she wouldn't do anything about the fees, wouldnt admit they messed up by showing incorrect information and not telling me about it. So I said I would be banking somewhere else then, said that she didn't really care. Very rude. They would rather loose the customer than admit they don't work very well. The few times I went inside all they do is talk down too customers with problems as if they're stupid. Put off by having to anything minor a banker may have to do like looking up and account number. Try literally any other bank. Never been treated so poorly by a bank. Would give less than one star if possible.

What a horrendous experience with the drive-up-window Nazis at this Foothills Bank branch in Kingman, AZ. Stopped in simply to exchange some bills ($150) for smaller bills. I was refused because I do not have an account with this bank (and now, never will). Why do businesses treat non-customers with such disdain and hostility? What are banks for if they are not to provide a money service to people. It is clear that these people, this bank, does not care about prospective customers, good service with a smile or their online ratings.

CASH NAZIs AT THE DRIVE UP WINDOW. What ever happened to the friendly greeting and how can I help you at banks? Now they won't change money for you unless you have an account with them. Out of towner but moving to Kingman just needed some one's. Not with these creeps. Why would I ever consider opening an account with this bank? NEVER! Stay away from this bank. Cancel culture arrives in Kingman? No account, you're just cancelled at this bank - even if you just want to make change.

I currently bank with MSB and I have to say this place doesn’t even deserve to be called a bank. The people are nice and friendly but that doesn’t excuse this outdated excuse for a bank. Maybe it’s my fault for not doing my research prior but the first time I went to deposit money into the ATM and either of the branches here in Kingman , you have to put the money in a paper envelope and if that’s after hours or on a weekend you won’t be able to access that money on your card until a live human comes and deposits the money into your account. This is absolutely absurd, like what a joke. Needless to say , I am canceling my account with them and have already opened up another account with Wells Fargo. Much better customer service , there are more resources to use , and hey wait a minute , you can deposit money into the ATM and it go directly in to your account, who would of thought. My Advice , if you dont bank with them already , don’t even think about it.
JD- Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate candid, honest comments like yours. We understand not having immediate access to your cash is frustrating. You are correct our ATMs in Kingman could be updated. This as well as other technology to better serve our customers is being discussed. I am sorry this made your experience with our bank negative. One of the biggest differences between us and the big banks is we invest in our local community. We don't ship your cash to banking hubs in other states or halfway around the world. The funds you deposit in our bank stay here to help our local economy. (www.mohavestbank.com/banklocal) We're continually looking for ways to improve. Thank you again for voicing your frustration.

Husband and I are pretty livid right now since Mohave Bank stole our money. When you bank with a financial institution you entrust them to keep your money safe, not steal it. We barely had any funds in our account as it was and now it is almost empty. We thought our money was safe. What kind of bank actually charges you to keep money with them anyway? I guess they charge you $10 each month when you don't have direct deposit, but when our direct deposit stopped, they never notified us. Not once. Not an email. Not a phone call. They just kept deleting $10 a month out of our account. They changed names. We couldn't log into our account online anymore. I didn't think anything of it because I assumed our money was safe in their hands. They don't send paper statements, only by email and when I received them each month, I wasn't able to open them for some reason. Again, didn't fret, thought our money was safe. Was kicked out of online banking. When, I finally decided to check on our account, my login wouldn't work. I tried for over a month to login and create a new password, but it just sat going round and round processing and nothing could confirm or deny. I finally, when I had spare time and after receiving a dormancy letter, made a complete new login and logged into the bank. Only to find our small amount of money we had (as we are all trying to make ends meet) was practically gone. $127.50 was taken out of account over the months. We only had 30 something dollars left. The $7.50 came from a dormancy fee they charged us the final month. They sent us a letter saying they would charge us $7.50 a month (apparently additional, on top of the $10 a month they had already secretly been charging us), but the letter had no date on it as to when that fee would start - could have been 6 months from now for all we know. That is what prompted us to try to login to our bank account recently to no avail. How can they send a letter about dormancy charges but not about the $10 charges? We called and asked them to please politely reverse these charges as we weren't notified at all and this came as a surprise. After a week or so, they finally had a decision to give us back $37.50 of it. They asked if that was fair. I said better than nothing, but it's not fair. All of it is fair. I mean, what were they going to do, let us go into the negative as they kept continuing to take $10 a month out of our account and then say we owed them money? They are bank fees. They can easily and without loss be returned to the customer. This is just bad service and theft. After returning the $37.50, they still stole $90 from us and refuse to return it. $90 is a lot of money to a family, especially when you're chronically ill like I am. It harms them none to return those fees. It hurts a family greatly. Thank you for caring about your customers - that's sarcasm. Don't bank here. They don't care about you.
Hi Tracy- Sorry I am late responding here but I did follow up on this complaint on Facebook. I let our compliance officer and the local manager know about your complaint. Your review stated correctly that the type of account opened requires a direct deposit to waive a monthly service charge. We do offer a number of ways in addition to online banking to help manage account balances including a mobile app, an automated telephone number, ATMs, the branch phone number, and in-branch tellers. I am sorry that you feel you were treated unfairly. The local manager is the correct person to handle this situation and she has reached out and is available to continue the conversation.

Name of bank misleading. Was traveling though, needed an ATM. With the name “State” on their sign, I thought it was a CU in-network. I was wrong. Got a $3 fee.
