I called this branch (my branch) to increase the limit on my debit card which I've done many times in the past. For the first time Tori informed me that I would have to call the 800 customer service number to get that done. I told her I've never had to do that before and she said she's been there for over a year and she's never done that before. I asked to talk to the manager and she said he'll be available Tuesday. She told me there was no one above her that she could connect me with right now. Well Tori, I've been a very loyal customer for over six years and I have $150.000 in that account. That money is earning no interest for me but it was for your bank. The only reason I have kept my account is because of my loyalty to FNBO for the customer service I have received in the past. I don't need this account and it will be closed in the morning.

I used to think FNBO was one of the best banks to get your banking needs done. This branch was very disappointing and has tainted my positive feelings about this bank. With so many choices one would think this branch would really care about their reputation. This branch has incompetent bankers and the manager, Brian is so uninvolved and defends their incompetency. He takes no accountability with the lack of knowledge. First I asked for a notary and a young banker said she couldn’t do it because there was no place for notary signed. I said I wanted to talk to a supervisor and the gentleman standing by her said he was the supervisor. He stepped in and said yes since the document didn’t have a box for them to fill out they couldn’t do it. I went to another bank to get it done and all they needed to do was print out a page that had a box for notary. This is all FNBO had to do. Instead their bankers chalked it up as they couldn’t do it. They could of been trained to give this option to a customer and have been resourceful to figure out a solution. The second incident was a simple international wire that took an inexperienced banker an hour to do. Then Brian their supervisor called me 3 hours later saying he couldn’t do it because there was no account number on it and the paper I gave them was in Spanish and they don’t read Spanish. I then had to drive back into town and I went to another branch that had a Spanish speaking banker. This did not need a Spanish speaking person but I decided to make sure there was no excuse why they couldn’t do this wire. Lucero did a great job at another branch and told me there was everything there that needed to be done the first time. Since the other manager Brian didn’t take the time and effort to follow up with the wire department he just chalked it up he couldn’t approve wire because his banker didn’t speak Spanish. That was the excuse he gave instead of thinking of a solution and training his banker to know how to do an international wire that is common knowledge for a banker he just made an excuse why he couldn’t do it. Do not go to this branch and think twice about banking with FNBO. They are not training new people to be resourceful and come up with solutions. Instead just give them excuses of why not to do something and pawn off duties to someone else. Leaves the customer wasting their time and causing a lot of unnecessary frustration.

Do all our banking with them through our office as well as our personal banking and this is the worst fnbo. Will never come here again. Carlee was horrible and not helpful at all. Took her time to take my checks cuz I didn't have my mask on then couldn't answer my question. Don't go to this brach.

Honestly, I just felt the desire to leave a five star review for this bank for several reasons. In comparing various banks since I had opened a bank account at age 16 to now- you all are by far my favorite. 1st off- I accidently overdrafted recenetly and unlike every other bank who would charge me ANY time I did this (even in college). You all give me one forgiven overdraft, and I believe that is monthly! Even though I do not always use it, it is a huge comfort to have. As a human who makes mistakes I seriously cannot thank you all enough for this. 2nd- Their customer service and care is awesome. I always feel like I am taken care of well, with high respect, and always quickly. I also feel like each and every teller I have worked with is personable and friendly. 3rd- I have banked with two other banks before them and wish I found them sooner. They understand I am human and always work with me. Any issue I have ever had is always solved. They also are the most understanding company when it comes to money. Finally- They are on top of any type of potential money theft issues. I recieved a new card one time because they were 'having some issues with other cards' and even though my card was not messed with, they still did not want to mess around and they issued new cards to everyone... #youhavemyrespect I am in tears truely because I appreciate you all so much for being as awesome as you are. Thank you for allowing people to make that one mistake since we are all only human. No one is perfect, First National Bank is damn close! Thank you. That is all I have to say. Thank you a million times over.

Kind of confusing that previous reviews are all either 5 stars or 1?? I will be specific to maybe avoid the 1 star reviews. Ty Joslyn was the young gentleman who helped me with everything I needed. Ty provided very polite, knowledgeable and thorough service on everything I needed. Bank itself is very nice and provides full services from start all the way down to safety deposit boxes on site. I was very pleased and satisfied with my visit so thank you Ty.

Shockingly incompetent bank. To my misfortune: someone got ahold of my account info and managed to spend about 90% of my remaining funds that I had left in my checking account. Their "fraud investigation department" called me AFTER THE CHARGE ALREADY WENT THROUGH and notified me of the charge and asked if it was me. I replied "no" and the lady told me that they where going to investigate the charge and I should have my money back in 14-31 business days. After an entire week of waiting, I returned to the bank to cash a $200 check in order to financially survive for the next week until my next pay period. They refused because I didn't have the money in my account and when I asked if they could make an exception in the case of my money being stolen they replied THAT THERE WAS NO REPORT OF FRAUD ON MY ACCOUNT!!! NOBODY HAD REPORTED THE MONEY BEING STOLEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT THAT I HAD ALREADY BEEN ASSURED WAS BEING TAKEN CARE OF A WEEK AGO. NO INVESTIGATION NOOBODY REPORTED ANYTHING TO ANYONE. THE ENTIRE WEEK THIS LADY HAD FORGOT TO EVEN REPORT MY THEFT THAT SHE HERSELF CAUGHT!!! Needless to say I was clearly upset at this point so one of the bankers, once again, ensured my that she was going to put what they called a "rush" on the investigation process and that should have my money in about 3 business days and told me THAT NOBODY REALLY USES THEIR DEBIT CARD THESE DAYS AND I SHOULD GET A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM INSTEAD! Now I'm sure you dont need me to say that any regular American citizen can assure you that they do, indeed, use their debit card on a regular basis. I showed BACK up three days after that to get my money and close my account to go to another bank and dicovered (surprise surprise) that the individual that the banker sent the "rushed investigation" request to HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND IT SHOWED NO SUCH REPORT. SHE HAD TO CALL THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE TO PLACE THIS REQUEST FINALLY ALMOST 2 WEEKS LATER. when i went to my employer (who has the same bank and also recommended it to myself) and told them of my experience with card fraud while having 1st National Bank they went in to ask what the heck was going on and why they where not helping me. It was at that point THEY TOLD MY BOSS THAT I HAD PROBABLY USED IT ON SOME "SKETCHY" WEBSITES!!! UNBELIEVABLE.... I showed my boss my expenses reports to prove that they where wrong AGAIN and completely asinine... Turns out they had also had similar problems with their business account with 1st National for their brewery they had opened back few years back...needles to say we are both looking for new banks to switch to. I highly recommend you find another bank with safer security measures and concrete fraud prevention and recovery methods than 1st National Bank does. It's just not worth having your money stolen and risk never getting it back...
