Awful experience. I have only been using this branch for about 6 months since moving to the area, but upon my most recent visit they elected to start charging a fee to withdraw funds and claiming this has always been the policy of the bank. This has NEVER been something I've had to pay at this bank in the previous 6 months that I've banked there or at any previous FNBO I've banked with. Additionally the head teller misgendered me to another teller while she was asking for clarifications on a minor error. Don't go this branch. Happy Pride month! Great way to make me feel welcomed!

I will be switching banks as soon as possible. A teller told my husband a large check would slowly release funds. That hasn’t happened (it’s been 5 days) and we called first National to be told the money is on hold indefinitely. This isn’t how you treat customers of 10 years. We have 3 checking accounts, a business account and a savings account and nothing they can do the week of Christmas. Some guy who wouldn’t speak to me directly just wanted the rep to pass it along that there’s nothing they can do. Extremely upsetting and I will happily tell everyone I know to avoid First National Bank.
Sara, we appreciate you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We are sorry to hear you’re not satisfied with your recent experience and would hate to lose you as a valued customer. We'd like the opportunity to change your opinion of us. Please contact us at 402-602-2830 or [email protected], so we can assist you.

They have to count your money by hand instead of using the cash counter which takes way longer .
Anastasia, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry you weren’t satisfied with your recent experience. Our policy is to hand count funds, then use a money counter machine to verify the total. We will be sure to pass your feedback on to our branch management team.

Arrived at the drive thru at 11:53 waited in line until 12:08 while they processed the 4 cars in front of me. When it finally was my turn I was greeted by a rude teller that said I arrived after noon and that they where now closed. I stated that I have been in line for at least 15 minutes and she did not believe me. I have banked at First National for well over 10 years and could not believe how this teller called me a liar. Maybe they need to review and set up new drive thru closing procedures, especially in the Covid19 era. Mean while I will be looking for a new bank that has better customer service. The funny thing is it was a simple 30 second deposit transaction.
We're sorry to hear about any inconvenience you may have experienced. Customer service is very important to us and we appreciate you taking time to voice your concerns. We will make sure to pass this feedback on.

I have never been ignored in a drive through let alone given a attitude at this bank. I clearly requested my balance and the teller sends it after 10 minutes of waiting. She never came back or bothered to apologize. Unacceptable service.

I recently closed my checking account from back home in a small town in NE Nebraska (moved to Omaha for college 2 years ago) to open one here in Omaha. I had heard many promising things about FNB, so they were my top choice. I set up a checking account with FNB on July 3rd, and all went smoothly. I was told my debit card would be mailed to me in 3-5 business days. Fast forward 1 week later and my debit card still hasn't came. So I gave them a call, and they were extremely helpful, however; they couldn't find my name in the system at all. I had received an entire packet full of information on July 3rd including my routing # and everything saying I was good to go....but somehow I was not in the system. So I went to deposit 2 checks that I needed to use for errands the next day, and again they couldn't find me in their system. It's like my appointment on Friday July 3rd never happened. Although I'm sure that my case isn't the usual for FNB, it was extremely frustrating to know that I intentionally set up an account 1 week before I NEEDED to use my account there, but my name somehow vanished from the system. I know mistakes happen all the time, but when it's a mistake with the people/bank that would have handled my money....it's very alarming.

The oldest checking account I have is with First National. Took it out in the mid 1980's. In all that time this is my favorite branch. They are friendly, helpful and the place is nice and clean. The only thing I find to negatively comment on is I don't see the same teller very often. However, the people in the offices stay pretty stable and the last time I was there one of them took a family picture for me just before my daughter in law and her kids left town. That by itself kicks the customer service level up a notch.

I was having some problems with my account and I was on a wild goose chase trying to figure out what the problem was. I had called First National 1-800 hotline numbers multiple times and nobody could help me! I went into a different location and they were of no help either. Right when I walked into the 84th and Frederick location I was greeted nicely and felt very comfortable. Joe Panebianco, a personal banker at this location, was AMAZING! He called probably over 6 numbers and to get my situation figured out and he did not seem annoyed in the slightest. He was very clear and kind when explaining to me what happened with my account. He is amazing and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with their banking!!!!!!

Stopped in to open a checking account and was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the building. The personal banker made a point of connecting with me to make me feel welcome
